Was actually from the very very popular (and I thought everyone that even cared about basketball had seen it) video on Royce White's draft night. His agent on the phone said the whole Rockets FO was against drafting him but McHale's trying to work the room into taking him.

Who knows. But if he doesn't want to discuss the details he doesn't have to. Maybe he doesn't want to reveal what his anxieties specifically are - maybe they are deeply personal. I don't know. Maybe he is playing a weird game. I'm not saying he's innocent here, I am just saying we don't have the facts.

The team physician made the decision (or advise). So I guess it might be an official move?

Because he won't give them to us.

White has done this in HS, College, and now the Pros. He always burns bridges in his first stop.

Never hated on Morey. Criticized? Yes. Asked that he be fired? Never.

This is the no spin zone! :)

The fact that the team won't comment other than saying that he's still on the Vipers' roster would suggest it's not an official move, rather just Winnebago going rouge again.

I like how there's always that group of people that sympathize with the criminal in every scenario. People think the NBA is some kind of welfare program that just throws money at people for no reason. Like it's a God-given right to be able to get paid by the NBA.

I don't think at this point anyone should give him the benefit of the doubt. The only facts that are important is that once again, Royce White isn't where he's contractually obliged to be.

Rockets should never have attached themselves to this guy in any way. His bullsh** is just going to keep following the team around even after they release him. Royce makes people with anxiety issues look bad.

We drafted him knowing all of this. I mean, none of this is a surprise.

The Rockets now are in a tough position. And they need to be careful here. This isn't about legal repercussions - this is about this young man and staining the organization. Royce White badly needs a mentor. If McHale rallied to draft him, then McHale has failed to mentor him and help him grow as well.

I don't thinks are going to end well for Royce White. And I am not talking about the NBA.

The guy is not worth it, he is just not that good at basketball and his entitlement issues only make it worse.

OCD is not the problem, lack of accountability is, pregnant girls, not working out, demands for playing time, etc etc etc.

Royce is a whiny baby who is throwing a tantrum because he is not getting his way.

    Jettison this terd.

Let's all remember that when we drafted this guy, we were looking for a star. Out of the 3 guys we drafted, I think White had the highest upside because of his unique skillset so I had no problem when Morey drafting him.

I understand that this is meant to elicit humor out of a frustrating situation for the Rockets, but that last part is not funny. I don't care who the person is, please don't joke about somebody rotting away like that. That's just mean.

I'm by no means trying to critique or defend Royce White, but I think people really need to lay off the "I hope the worst for him, I hope he rots" comments. It's simply unkind.

    Feel better, now?

    Great!

Back on topic....I wish AIDS upon Royce White. How does that make you feel?

You would think, but no, he was just sad about heading back to the bench because Terrence Jones was called down again so he made up some BS about his mental health acting up and jumped on the first flight out of the valley. It's of course a well known fact that flying only bothers him when there isn't some place he personally wants to go.

On top of that, he has an uncanny ability of uncorking his tantrums during moments of triumph by the Rox. Almost like a 3 year old throwing a tantrum when his younger sibling is getting more attention than he is.

As expected. I just don't understand why we have such a long post for a guy who won't see one minute on the floor for Rockets, or any NBA team.

My posting style and thought does not differ from my real persona. I wonder how it is for others...
