Then why do people bring up his injury as if it was a factor and how would you know whos better if you've never seen TJ out there for some good minutes from game to game? Seems like predetermined answers on your part. Hope you don't bite your bullets...

I have no problem being wrong. My problem is Jones is getting ZERO opportunity. None. Not even a lick of a chance. The starting PF and the backup PF gets sent away and he's still sent to the D-League. That's a damn shame.

He was facing an uphill battle even if he was healthy, he wasn't so there was no chance he was going to get time.....that really isn't hard to understand.

He never had a chance is what you don't understand. If we're really shopping players, why not start Douglas over Lin then? Why not start Morris at SF over Parsons? Hey, we're shopping players right? Let's play players we want to trade. "Injury" or not he never had a shot and was never getting one. He played well in the 2 or 3 whatever games he played in garbage time early in the season. He hustled like nobody on the team does. The absolute best lineup we could put out is:

    PG Beverley
    SG Harden
    SF Parsons
    PF Jones
    C Asik

That's 50+ wins right there. But the politics or whatever goes on in organizations deter the fans from seeing the best possible product on the court.

He was facing a terrible PF who doesn't play to power forwards strengths such as being physical and rebounding and a top 5 pick brought in by Morey. Do you really think Mchale is going to put tj in with Morey wanting Robinson out there ASAP. Mchale already takes it when he plays Bev too long over lin, too many more risk from him and Mchale would probably be handing his job over. Hes tight roping as of now.

It was funny at first, but now it's just sad how little you understand this sport.

If you think Morris is a physical specimen at the pf position and would do better than tj then you are delusional:eek:

I was annoyed earlier in the season when Jones was getting sent up and down, but why are people criticizing the move now? This moves makes all kinds of sense.

Jones just came back from an injury. He hasn't played for a long time and needs reps. He (likely) has learned much from watching practices and games, therefore needs reps to put what he learned to use. He's not a great player where even 70% of Jones is better than 100% of players he replace. So why keep him up here? There's absolutely no point. Jones belongs in the DLeague and if he shows promise, he'll get a shot if we have an injury horrible play.

Again, Morris was playing over Jones and DMo at the beginning of the year so that he could have some trade value. DMo established himself ahead of Jones in the depth chart and has never done anything to change that and now he's coming off of injury....

Morris was coming off the bench before trade talks at the beginning of the year, rather had seen D-mo then too. How about playing your best players. I never said they had to start but they could of given them a few more shots off the bench til they worked their way up.

I vaguely recall the league stating specifically that they wanted to use the DLeague to transition players back from injuries. I think Amare did that with the Knicks DLeague right?

he's coming back from injury and needs non-practice run. he's not going to get that on the rox roster so sending him to RGV makes sense for him to get some wind in real game time. calm the **** down

Man, I wish I didn't feel like there was a legit chance this kid could wind up being the best PF on our current roster. The lack of progress in his development wouldn't be as disappointing.

(Also, can a mod edit the previous post ruining the page width? That sh-t is just ridiculous.)

31 pts ... I think he is pissed off that he's still not getting a chance. He might turn out to be our best PF. Blame it on McHale. Heck, even Aldrich got PT to play and we know he's never been good.

McHale is giving him the Morris treatment.

So Jones belongs in the d league but Robinson doesn't and gets minutes?
