He's an elite dunker, that's about all he really does well on the offensive side of the ball. There's a reason he's sitting at an 89 offensive rating this year, he's probably the least efficient scorer in the entire league. His defense and athleticism are pretty awesome and he's not a poor rebounder, but he doesn't really do anything else well. As I said, I think Robinson could develop into a better player, especially if he never picks up Smith's bad habits and poor attitude.

Smith is good at finishing, that doesn't mean he has a good post game. It means he can attack the rim and convert. Which is what he does. He's truly a SF

People that don't think he has a good post game have never seen him play outside of highlights. He's a magician on the post. Easily Top 10.

Honestly, I don't know what Robinson can be yet but I am willing to wait and see.

Ridiculous. I'm not convinced T-Rob is better. I definitely feel bad for the kid considering D-Mo's gotten minutes and T-Rob who just joined the team has been getting minutes too. I don't know if T-Jones can become a player, but I would say his the most athletic of the three and he's paid his dues for us.

You think DM going sit on cap space and not sign PF? Do really think that some player like Smith/Milisap is not going start?

Do the math buddy - D-Mo, T-Rob, T-Jones, R. White plus FA PF. Just like DM move 2 PF by trade deadline I willing bet Rockets do not have 5 PF on the roster at start of season.

T-Rob has most value and possibility easiest to be moved. Maybe DM will bite bullet and waive R. White, but I don't see DM willing to waive white flag yet.

T-Jones is the best fit for the system we're running. He'll have the same impact Earl Clark is having on the Lakers and it's exactly what we need if we're not gonna post up D-Mo. It's a crime that Jones hasn't been given a chance. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah it's absolutely a crime that they didn't play him when he was injured...

Oh yeah he was real injured in the 17 D-League games he played right?

Oh, so you are saying they should have played him over Patterson and Morris when the Rockets were trying to get their trade value up? I disagree.

He was never gonna play even after the trade "injured" or not. Terrence Jones was being shopped too anyway. Yeah, lotta trade value warming the bench and torching the D-League.

Hes an excellent passer as well for a big man, ever see any Hawks game? Horford and him play a great two man game in the post kind of like Gasol/Zebo and Blake/Jordan. He takes bad shots here and there and he has the attitude at times but all of those can be worked on. Probably be much happier here tho.

He wasn't going to play because DMo was clearly ahead of him on the depth chart and Thomas Robinson has a hell of a lot more potential. Jones just is buried on the depth chart and rightfully so.

"Potential" LOL. An absolute bust that Sacramento gave up on midway through his 1st season. He doesn't have more potential than Jones. Only reason he's playing is cause he was a lottery pick. Kwame Brown was the 1st pick overall. Just throwing that out there.

Actually there is several reasons, one is that he has more talent than Terrence Jones, another is because Robinson was healthy when he was traded here getting him on the court instead of Jones, and finally because Robinson showed potential and established himself ahead of Jones on the depth chart.

I don't know where your crush on Jones comes from, but it can't be healthy.

Again, you throw out "more potential" and "more talent" like it's fact. Why should I bother arguing with someone so delusional? He's only playing because he's perceived to have more potential. Not that he actually has more. And it's clear this experiment should be over because he's garbage. Has nothing to do with me favoring Jones. Hell I'll take Earl Clark over T-Rob.

Fair enough, I get that it is your opinion that Jones is better, but I think I'll stick with my own opinion especially considering that it happens to be pretty much the consensus of damn near everyone. Of course just because it's you and the Jones family essentially against the world doesn't mean that you guys can't be right and everyone else on the planet could be wrong. We'll see. Good luck.
