If Kobe doesn't stop chucking, they will be out of the playoffs.

DH doing anything other than post moves is a joke and some people here believe his post moves are a joke (I don't). Jump shots also take him away from the basket and away from rebounding his own shot. This is silly talk from D'Antoni and DH.

Howard needs to improve his FT shooting more than anything. That, by itself, will take him to another level. What he should also improve (if possible) is his dexterity.

wow not so subtle jab by Dwight saying he doesnt get the ball enough inside and what does D'antoni say? Yeah he should expand his game a bit more and develop a mid range

i am sooo glad d'antoni isnt the coach of the rockets -- so freakin glad

Howard is about to show the world he's on Ray Allen's level.

Well, the Lakers were winning until Pau Gasol returned.

I'm not saying Gasol is a problem. Far from it. But the Lakers should have stopped at 3 star players. Gasol comes back and no one knows what to do out there.

Doesn't hurt my feelings to watch the Lakers lose (although I was rooting for them against GS last night), but they were tearing it up for awhile.

I guess I shouldn't underestimate exhaustion. They've fought back from so far down, maybe they've also simply hit a wall.

And how they hit a wall! Anyone watch the game last night? I saw enough of it to turn it off. Talk about a can of whoop-a$$.

Only a great coach could figure out how to make Kobe + Nash + Gasol + Howard work, and D'Antoni, while not worthless, is no one's idea of a great coach.

I don't know what internal politics prevented them from hiring Phil Jackson, but what a colossal blunder---even if no one could have predicted the injuries they sustained.

Speaking of injuries, is Kobe Bryant bionic or what? He'd play with a fresh bullet wound. I never liked the person but I can't help but respect the player.

I think Gasol is just a bad fit with the rest of the roster. They should try to trade him for more of a stretch 4 (like Illyasova) although his stock will be very low- especially during the draft.

They need to amnesty Gasol in the offseason.
