Hard to say, everyone goes on and on about his insane potential, and I know what the mean. But, he has yet to really show that he will live up to it, except for in flashes. That being said, he has been very impressive lately and if he keeps it up he may have finally turned the corner.
It takes a special talent like Kevin Love to get the max while his team is in the lottery every year.
Surpisingly...the Wizards are 18-15 since he returned from injury. Not saying that makes him worth a max contract, but if he could turn that franchise around and get a winning season under his belt, it's possible he will get one. Harden got one and he was a sixth man.
Short sample size, but since March, 20.1ppg, 4.5rpg, 7.7apg, 2.1spg, 52.4%fg. He has potential. And he does have the work ethic. But I would need a longer sample size than half a month.
Whats up with players telling people,teams,etc...that they are Max players.??!! IF YOU HAVE TO SAY IT >>>THEN YOU ARE PROBABLY NOT A MAX PLAYER...... But anyways , he is not worht the max....he has nothing to show for and has been injured too often.....
The best player on your team is not automatically a max player. A hard lesson that cost some GMs their job.
