The Dominicans defeated Los Boricuas 2-0.
So that means it will be Dominican Republic vs. Netherlands and Japan vs. Puerto Rico in the semifinals.

Any chance The Boricuas pull a upset over the 2-time defending champs?

Yadier Molina with one of the most bizarre plays I've seen. He catches a base stealer and gets credited with an unassisted putout.

Puerto Rico advances to the finals, winning 3-1 over the 2-time champions and ending Japan's WBC dynasty. Congrats to the Boricuas.

Dominican Republic defeated the Netherlands 4-1 and advance to the championship game.

This sets up an All-Latino Finals matchup: Boricuas vs. Dominicans

By the way, Dominicans ran the table. 8-0 record. Fernando Rodney saved 7 of those 8 wins. He allowed 1 hit in the tournament.
