    Who's fighting?

You cast the first stone "a little biased"...

And yes, by using 1999 as a reference to what the Spurs can/should do now you are living in the past.

The fact remains that the Spurs still have something to prove, not more than the Mavericks do at least, but still, they've not reached the promised land by any stretch of the imagination.

This will be my last post directed towards you, goodnight.

p.s. I hope you weren't one of the "Baseline Bums" :D

It's alright people. Everything'll be peachy. We'll still make the playoffs. Remember? You got a RocketGuy3-brand gaurantee! Those are fail-proof!!! And the playoffs are all that matter for this year...

We're gonna end the year on a run, striking fear into our opponents' hearts for what we'll have to bring next year.

We must! We can! We will!!!

It’s tough. I looked at the stats after the game and everything was pretty much even, even though we did start out pretty slow. We got beat from the free throw line tonight, but at the same time we have to think about ourselves. I think our defense has kind of lacked in the last couple games. We’ve been falling behind early and trying to dig ourselves out of a hole against a veteran team

SF after game quotes. I guess all he does care a lot about stats... I wish he would try to reduce that TO average sometime, though I think his four today could reduce his average. :(

It's ok. We all know that every big win will be followed by a series of depressing loss.

If Mo Taylor wasn't cooled off by the refs, we might
    have a chance :(

The fifty or so spers fans that were seated behind the goal were louder than almost all of the Compaq Center... embarassing.

I hate going to Rockets games when we play the other Texas teams.... their fans show up in mass and make noise!!

Even the drum guys couldn't incite the crowd to make noise.

Game was fun until they punked us and were up by 12 after 8 minutes!

No wonder we were not in too it.......

It was a typical Rockets game as of late. Look we do not mind when we get down, but when we see the lack of hustle from these guys--it gets old!

I remember when we used to stroll to Sa in the same fashion and make noise like that.....

One announcer said it best last week against Dallas---this team lacks mental depth....the fans respond the same way....

    This Sux...

We are no where near the team we need to be...

No chemistry, no trust, no playoffs...

I gotta get this off my chest...

ROCKETS FANS SUCK IN THE COMPAQ CENTER...

    It was totally pathetic yesterday...

I came in from out of town to see my Rox...have a couple of brews and watch us kick SA's azz...

There is no energy at the Compaq center and I don't see why this should change with the new arena...

I can't blame the fans for the lack of energy/passion on the court, but COME ON...

Cheer, yell, scream, GET INTO THE GAME....

Talking from the experience of a Canucks fan a few days ago when the Canucks were a losing team: the fans started their dislike of the home team by first showing little or no reaction to hometeam action on the court (no cheering, no screaming etc), then a few more losses you'll notice attendance would drop drastically and the still-coming fans would start booing the home team once players did something silly and stupid (like unnecessary one-on-one's, dribblings and eventually TO the ball).

I hope this would not happen in the Rockets' home court.

If this bunch of starters tend to start off slow, why didn't RudyT bench some of them and start those on the bench who are hungry to play? This has nothing to lose. In any case, you are digging a big hole and failing to come back everytime.

It seems that RudyT also starts off slow. We seldom see quick response to weaknesses being displayed by the team. The only consolidation price is that these weaknesses really surprise us - they are coming up in different styles, they never bore you.
