Perhaps someone said it already, but the OP is the man himself, owner of this website. So calling him a n00b and L0F is as far from the truth as you can get ... I mean the L0F part.

JLin and Harden did fine in the last game however the remainder of the team members need to be talk about. No? Why always ONLY LOF or LOH?

Let's settle this, trade JLin to the Lakers!

Just counted the last 14 posts before yours - 6 were pre-2012 posters and 8 were post. Seems you're wrong about the join dates of posters.

You've never played basketball? There is surely such a thing as being hot or being in the zone. A beautiful thing which is definitely real.

One day, scientists will be able to distill that in a bottle and it will be the new HGH.

Exactly. A better solution would be for him to leave CF rather than Lin leave Rockets. He'd be calmer and could also enjoy a more successful team.

Clutch trying to keep the banter to one thread I suppose. Clever idea.

Yeah, that's it! I'll get him back by comparing a rookie to a three year vet:cool:.

oh but the coaches do encourage him to be more proactive. but when he is, they say he "rather have 29 points and 9 turnover" and they say "Jeremy, we're trying to win".

I actually found it quite funny that Clutch got a few bashes for posting this article, even if he admitted it was troll bait.

I don't even know why people are so resentful of this article? I read it...I have my opinions about it...and if you didn't like it, then just explain why the article is mistaken as some posters have done. It's a fair way to discuss an article.

But instead, you have folks running around having meltdowns, covering their ears with their hands and screaming 'shut up! shut up!' (I'm taking artistic license here :-D) just because the author says something they don't agree with. Then they talk about getting rid of Lin to stop these articles.

Like what?? Besides the whole 'going loco' thing about that, why can't someone (much less the owner of this bbs) just post something interesting to share with the rest of us? How boring do people want this board to become? To make it a place where everyone must share a collective opinion? Go back to Russia where you came from! (Sorry, that last bit was trolling I confess...lol)

The article is dumb cause its full of straw man arguments. It also makes assumptions throughout with no basis.

That's a very idiotic comment from McHale in my opinion. I agree that he may not be the best coach out there for this team.

I agree somewhat with Murphy, but only in regards to the first half. Lin had plenty of shots in the second half, because he was playing in desperation mode in the second half. Lin plays better in desperation mode.

When the game started Dmo couldn't hit anything from the inside or the outside, Parsons was off, Harden had trouble making layups, Delfino was off. Lin on the other had looked good from the first jumper. He only went 1-3 in the first three FGA, but two of those were layups where he got severely hacked. So his form looked good and his decision making looked good. I posted in the game thread that they should give Lin the green light.

And of course that implies that I don't think he has the green light to fire away. McHale has groused about Lin looking for "home runs", and what can that mean other than McHale thinks he takes too many risky and ill advised shots? I think Harden shoots for lots of "home runs" himself, but don't hear much criticism of that, nor would I want Harden to change.

Lin has also stated that he looked to get his team going before looking for his own shot. I don't think this is a good idea, and its even worse that he stated it publicly. If opposing teams know he does this, they don't have to guard him that closely in the beginning of games and will just try to block his passing lanes. He needs to fire away to keep the opposing defense honest. His guiding principle at any time should be to facilitate moving the ball around to the person with the best shot. If the person with the best shot happens to be Lin, he should fire away. But early in games you can see him passing up open shots to feed his teammates. That's not being a good PG.

And in this game, where basically all of his other teammates had trouble scoring early on, he needed to take charge and look for his own shot. He did that in the second half, but it was too little too late by then. Sometimes I just wish he would play with desperation from the opening tip off. That's what made "Linsanity" in the first place. He was playing with desperation, and D'Antoni - who was just as desperate - was egging him on. But I get the sense that the Rockets coaching staff doesn't what him playing that way.

early on in the season... Lin was recovering and not playing well...

now Lin is 100% playing well he should be unleashed...

    stagger Lin and hardens minutes...

Let Lin play naturally with shooters/defenders all around him

    Lin
    Delfino
    Parsons
    Dmo
    Smith
