Going to my first Rockets game in Houston this month

    As the title states, I'll finally be going to my first game in Houston. Living in Corpus, I've made the trip to SA a few times to watch our Rockets play and now finally making the trip to Houston. I'll be going to the Clippers game at the end of this month.
    Basically, is there anything I should know before hand to make this experience more worthwhile? Anything about the particular game that I should know, ie Promotion night, Red-out, etc?

    Also, didn't know the correct forum to ask this question. Just in case I put this in the wrong spot

    Confession, I have not been to a Rockets game in the Toyota center. The last game I went to was in the Compaq Center. However, I will conservatively estimate I have watched or listened to 60% of the Rockets games since 1986.

    They gave away a pair of free tickets to a game earlier this season (I actually got 6)...should've went then

    I intend to have a fantastic time, especially with Lob City coming to the Toyota Center. Hopefully we can pull out a W that night, even though I know the Clips have had our number lately

    Leave early! Traffic is a biznatch and you don't want to miss the opening. There's plenty of stuff to do or look at if you get there too early.
