I am just curious, I am not sure what the cap is at right now. But its hard to over look the fact that we have too many over paid players.

Is it possible to sign Brand or any good additional talent? Also, given the previous contracts, I hope we don't sign Posey to a max contract for like 6 years. What were they thinking when they signed Moochie?

I'm pretty certain that we are over the cap right now. When Glen Rice comes off the books, that might change.

i don't think glen's contract matters for cap purposes, only luxury tax ones b/c steve's extension will have kicked in by then, and i believe it is worth more than rice's contract, though they could be fairly even. after that, no one major leaves the cap until i think cato which will be in time for yao's extension. cuttino i think also has 3 years left. basically we're over the cap for the forseeable future, but i don't think we're ever over by that much. if lex is a little flexibly with the luxury tax thing, we won't be in any serious trouble as far as i know. PLEASE DON'T SIGN POSEY!!!
