Do you guys consider this dirty? If so, what he did to Kobe was dangerous.

Yeah Ray Allen nearly did the same to Harden..luckily he didn't get hurt but he did fall because of it. What happened to Kobe was worse because he actually landed awkwardly leaning away.

I have mixed feelings about this play. I think Jones was intentionally sliding under him though, Kobe clearly faded away so there's no reason for Jones to be so close.

What annoys me though is that I've gotten called for a foul where the jump shooter kicks out his legs for contact (Reggie Miller). Even the ref said the offensive player kicked out. Stupid call because I blocked the jump shooter's shot.

At least we'll be in better standings against the Lakers with the playoff push.

It was dirty that's why Harden got pissed and fortunately he didn't get hurt.

Looks like Kobe's left foot came down on the back of Jone's right shoe. Don't know whether it was intentional but have to side with Kobe on this one that it was at least dangerous, and I'm no Kobe fan.

Posted this in Lakers thread, but I hate the Lakers so I'm gonna repeat it...

INB4 ESPN segment on 'warrior mamba deity super non-rapist Kobe'... ZOMFG HE SCORED 32 POINTS ON 89 SHOTS WITH A SEVERELY-SPRAINED-ALMOST-SNAPPED-IN-12-DIFFERENT-PLACES ANKLE!!!!!! ZOOOOOOMFG!!!!!!

Also, Paul Pierce and Curt Schilling called, they said to stop embellishing.

It doesn't look intentional to me. Looks like any other play that you would see except there was no call on this one. Should've been a foul call IMO since he didn't give Kobe room to land. That's what happens when shooters stick out their feet. They get into a dangerous situation.

In the Philippine professional league, sticking your foot on the landing spot of the jumpshooter, whether contact is made or not, is called a flagrant foul 1 (3 min on the bench).

Rule change was made over a year ago to prevent injuries to the shooter.

    That was some tight defense.

    Didn't look malicious to me.

Good to see that ESPN is getting back to having actual experts on different sports on their channel. I get so sick of hearing blowhards like Screamin' A and Skip Bayless.

If Kobe wasn't hurt, there would be no issues. Kobe's unbalance shot is more the culprit, just like Lin always falling down on layups which is why he had a sprained ankle this season. The difference between R.Allen and D.Jones is that Allen leaned and went into the shooter, this Kobe's leg went into the defender. Seeing Kobe walking after the game, he'll be back. He is sort of like P.Pierce, kind of exaggerating his injury.
