I hope we do, but the way the spurs are playing lately they are on a HUGE roll. Also throw in the fact that Parker owns Steve Francis on D too. Hopefully the Rockets can pull out a tough win.

    Hi,

There is no way we will lose, because logically there is no way we would win.

    Go Rockets

I usually predict that the Rockets will lose, but this time, I think that they will win.

The Rockets usually play well when they are on a losing streak and "their backs are against the wall."

As much as I love our team, I am going to CHEER for the Spurs. I want them to get ahead of Mavs and I want us to play the Spurs in the First Round, Lakers play Mavs.

Whoever is our first option, Rox should play a team basketball, with a lof of ball movement, spacing and cutting, etc. SF, please show your leadership and use your barin. Posey, please get rid of your Nugget concept. Cat, please do not ask for unnecessary Ts.

If so, there will be a win for us, an very important win.

    Hi yourself. :)
I agree. We don't have a chance... ergo, we will win!

I don't know what's up with Francis. He pays $40K on tickets for his friends and family at D.C. and bricks everything. He's gotta be hurting. We need him to step up, if he can with his back. Backs are a real ****er. I hope it's bruised badly or something and not more serious.

Every game is a playoff game now. If they play the way they can they can beat anyone, imo. They need to play like that from here on out.

Kill the Spurs. Rocks by one.

Spurs are on fire, Tim Duncan played only 32 minutes last night, and Parker matches up well with Francis. Yao Ming has a few nagging injuries, and we're behind in the playoff race.

    Rockets 94
    Spurs 93

If it goes to overtime, we win this time.

The only hope for the Rockets in this one is the fact that the Spurs played yesterday and handed my Kings one of their wosrt losses of the season.

The key matchup will by Francis on Parker. Parker is playing at a whole new level lately, and Steve will need to stay in front of the guy. If he does, and if the Rockets utilize Yao in the post as they need too against BIG defensive teams, they stand a chance.

Still the Spurs are on fire, and the Rockets are sliding.

    Spurs 94 / Rockets 82

Rockets blow out the Spurs by 20 points, like they did against Kings and T-wolves at home.

DRob's last game in Houston. Hope you all show him some love, at least before the game anyways. He's had great battles over the years with Hakeem and always had the highest respect for The Dream.

Francis needs to play defence as well as offence, he needs not to be waiting to get rebounds. The team needs to play Team Basketball, pass the ball and help out each other with blocks, when needed, have good spacing and dont leave the Spurs shooters wide open like we normaly do! Give Moochie a chance to point guard with the starters. No three guard offence. Use Yao Ming in limited minutes (25), use him to score. Play Cato a good stretch and this will make Yao Ming more effective. Insist that Francisd pass to all players not just Mobley. Have Mo Taylor get off to a good start.Play Rice limited minutes,(10) he shoots 3 pointers only. Insist that no rushed shot be taken long distance unless the ball has been passed to them. Get Posey under control, dont let his selfish exhibition distroy the rythem of our Game. Get Griffin to go more often to score at the Basket. When the ball is brought up there MUSTbe pass offs to open players sweeping into the basket. Its a great way to get open shots or dunks right at the basket!

    good point.
team play is the most important prority this season, win or no win isn't so important. here are some suggestions to defend tony parker. when he charges, he seldom pass the ball, YM can block him at the post (steve front). but after he pass the ball, he normally wait at perimeter line to shoot 3, steve must not let him wide open. it's tough for steve because he is addicted to rebounds.

I hope that Francis is going to be physically fit for this game. His back problems are bothering him. He needs to defend well against Parker and also to attack from the start so he can put him under pressure.Francis will have to make good decisions while passing which can be greatly helped if the rest of the players cut and move to places on the court where they can score more easily but he will also need to get his own shots off as well.
I hope that the Rockets will play hard on both ends throughout the game even if they don't win.
