I expect he will end up as a backup center if he stays with Rockets. He's strong enough to hold his ground. His skills offensively would create a great mismatch. I would like to see him setting screens. I think he would be able to swing it to weak side better than any of the other big men

Goudeluck and Singletary also looked good in the game, think we can use them to shore up our bench ?

Guys, I don't think White is our best prospect on the Vipers.

Basically, I'd give the announcer a better shot at the NBA at this point, and I kept expecting him to say "boom goes the dynamite."

I called the Morris trade to Suns for a pick last year and I'll call this...Royce White to the Wolves....(possibly with Aaron Brooks, Adelman can renew his man crush, & T-Rob)
    Close to home
    Close to his doctor
Close to Eastern Conference teams, more mileage on the Winnebago.
    Playing time

    In a package for Love.

If we can't get Love, then subtract T-Rob and we get D-WillII & or Shved...

White really lacks NBA explosiveness. He does not really jump well or quickly. For a player that is a poor perimeter shooter, it is usually a kiss of death. Further, White does not have the footwork of a player like Luis Scola. The only reason I do not completely write him off being a good to very good NBA player is that White is extremely strong, in both the upper and lower body. You can see him literally just take space and push multiple players out of the post. Couple that with very strong hands and very good handles and he may have a shot. Unfortunately we will not know seeing him play DLeague talent.

The other issue to me is conditioning, how much of his lack of explosiveness is due to his weight and lack of cardio.

I will never trust him as a player though. He has let himself get out of shape in the past, is inconsistent in manner from game to game and there are issues as to his availability. Perhaps he will get the help he needs and settle in and surprise everyone....... still a long shot.
