James Posey may still be hurting from that knee injury that he suffered a couple games back. I know how bad it can be. I play basketball. When my knee was in pain, it was hard for me to defend the offensive players.
I didn't read what any of y'all said.... BUT HAWKINS DID GREAT......I mean. God. He hasn't played in ANY games literally. AND THEN YOU TELL HIM TO GO GUARD MICHAEL JORDAN. Jordan didn't really play good defense on him. Cuz HAWKINS scored 10 points on 66% shooting. Man.....Hawkins did great. Too bad.....he didn't get any calls. I MEAN. Jordan really dissed him. How do you know Hawkins FLOPPED? I mean......Hawkins isn't STUPID. He wouldn't FLOP three times in a row during the very end of the game. HE WAS PUSHED. He was fouled. And the refs didn't call anything cuz it's MJ. Hawkins did a good job. HE IS A MUCH BETTER DEFENSIVE PLAYER THAN JAMES POSEY. Posey MAY HAVE BEEN injured.....but probably not. It was rude for MJ to say Hawkins doesn't know how to play......and is a kid. MJ .....at least even Kobe has never said something like that. Has he? MAN. At least Hawkins can shoot. Only if he was bigger and stronger...
MJ may be the greatest BBall player ever lived but he leaves a lot to be desired otherwise. Maybe that's why I was never a MJ fan.
I never really gave a crap about him. BUT HE IS THE BEST. DIVORCE!!!! I don't know. I was just pissed when he said that. Arrogant.......maybe it was a compliment. He got aggravated by Hawkins. Anyways.......because HE WAS MJ.........he got all the calls that he wanted... like goaltending.
Jordan is a straight up b*stard for dissing another player's game. Can you imagine if you were a young player who grew up idolizing Jordan and the first time you face him, Jordan goes out of his way to say how much you suck? Yet, the media still fawns over him like he's the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. F-ck Jordan. Next time he sticks out that tongue, someone should uppercut him to the jaw so he bites it off, then at least he would shut the hell up.
Taking a charge is not flopping. Flopping means you fall when there's no contact or the contact is not strong enough to make you fall. Flopping at the end of the game against Jordan is stupid because everybody knows the Jordan rule.
Hawkins may not be known for flopping by non-Rockets fans, but if you go back and look at past games, he is a flopper. He plays great defense, but man, the guy definitely tries to get calls via the flop. He's successful more often than not, too. I just found it terrible that he'd try it against Jordan. Even Stockton and Malone (The Masters of Flop) aren't going to get that call.
Yao clearly blocked Jordan's shot, Posey seemed to play tight defense on MJ and I thought he was wrongly called for a charging foul when driving baseline on Jordan. Frankly I'm sick of the Jordan Rules crap and hope he permanently retires, go plays golf or whatever. Solid stat: Rockets finished 14-13 against Jordan's teams.
