Asik did a good jobe on Lee, he can guard Scola. And when Makieff comes in for Scola, that's a win for Rockets no matter what lineup we use.
A trap game? with 19 games left and fighting to stay in the playoff? If this was January, and we were in a comfortable position, I might believe that. If we lose this game, it's because we are just not that good.
Scola's is a decent mismatch, but the difference between him and Lopez is that on the other end of the floor Lopez is mobile 7 footer that blocks over two shots a game. We've seen first hand what happens with Scola at center. Not to disrespect the Suns, they can beat us. But we are better than them playing big or small. Today they are forced to be small, while we can play either.
Harden's home is Los Angeles - where he grew up and went to high school - he just went to school in Tempe for school for two years -- wouldnt really consider it his "home"
Harden is recovering and he's on a b2b. Lin sucks on a b2b. Yeah...we might have to play with neither of them showing up today... I smell a recipe for disaster.
that shout be a win anyway! That's why i wanna see some post ups downl low from asik and d-mo....both should have big advantages against their smaller opponents....
Karolik is right, someone else will have to step up. I hope Parsons can shoot efficiently one more night.
I would bet Harden is VERY unhappy with his own performance last night, and comes out tonight wanting blood.
Parsons in his last 5 games has been shooting 64% FG and 63% 3P% with 24 points per game. Dude has been on fire lately
Rockets really need this game because the last four games in March are against the Clippers, Spurs, Grizzlies and Pacers.
rockets will end season at #8 while LA takes 7 if we dont pull this out. Kobe playing like a true superstar doing crazy jordan comeback ****
It's a test for the Rockets, whether we can build up on last night's results. Of course, it would have been perfect if Raptors beat Lakers. But Kobe's crazy shots saved them, and I have to live with that. It's also a test and pressure game for Jeremy Lin. Ex-girlfriend and current girlfriend, no matter how you downplay it, there will be comparison and rivalry. Still, I think Lin is in a more comfortable position. After all, all he needs, is a team win. Dragic, on the other hand, it will probably be a personal battle only. He wants to outperform Lin, because their team is out of playoffs. So, if he tries too hard, it's probably going to hurt them. Let's go, Rockets. Stop worrying about Lakers and other teams, just win game by game, and avoid Spurs and Thunder on the end
after watching kobe and nash due the crazy stuff last night i am worred about them if the rockets start crashing during crunch time like last season
