    He's usually pretty quick with responses, even when interviews take a wrong turn, so I don't think this one was. Hard to predict what Kobe would say, especially word for word.

    Mamba isnt going anywhere...till someone carries him off the court...He seriously...will not give up...i dont see it...and he hasnt shown any indication that he has lost his mamba-ness..

    it's really just a matter of how much he cares about getting the points title. if the lakers aren't winning a championship by the end of next season, they aren't winning a championship again while he's there. he knows it. nothing for him to linger around for.
