ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 3/8/2013

Only 20 games left, veteran teams know how to close, but our young squad might lose cool under pressure. I don't want to hold my breath in the last game for must-win.

Before the season started, this was going to be an experimental season. But after the signing of Harden, and as well as we have been playing offensively. Anything out of a playoff is no longer acceptable.

We'd better get the win.

 

Did we always have this game on ESPN or did we get switched with another game?

 

i think jlin will do well since its an old team of his..

 

we better win this, cuz we will be that much closer to 6th seed. If officiating is sketchy again and mchale is making questionable decisions, i'm gonna rage

 

This game is McHale's to lose...
should be interesting to see his rotation and crunch time decision making...
though I suspect, he will bring up the "Energy" thing again..
I just hope that Harden's knee has fully recovered.

 

10 bucks says even if its a close game and Lin's playing well or at least decently, he will get benched in the 4th quarter.

What surprises me is that even though he's continually improving, it seems like the coaches are giving him less minutes. I remember our second game against the Mavs Lin only had 5 points thru 3 quarters. He played the entire 4th and scored like 14 points and basically spearheaded our comeback. Heck, even Harden was giving him the ball at the end. Granted we lost, but at least the coaches showed some kind of confidence in him then.

Nevertheless, key for the Rockets is to hold Curry under 30 points and get rebounds

I have a feeling that Morey told Mchale to tank the season. There can be other explanation for Mchale's rotations.

 

Guess he told him to tank last year also.

 

playoff experience for our young players is much more valuable than anything we'll get in this year's draft.

I think it will be tremendously disappointing if we miss the playoffs again. Too much hard work has been put in this season to have a late season collapse.

 

Lakers will probably get 6 seed. We are playing for 7th or 8th.

 

No way a coach is going to do that as he's looking out for himself as well...for having a good track record for the next gig. That being said he's just being clueless at times. A great player doesn't necessary mean it automatically equates to a good coach and it's showing for McFail.

McHale sucked both as GM and coach of the long suffering wolves. You can actually trace the origin of "McFail" to disgruntled wolves fans who are not as fond of McSuccess as some are here.

 

Motivation to win: less "Mcfail" sucks" and "Lin sucks" whiny b**** posts to have to look at.
