Sorry to do this, but I wasn't getting the responses needed, and more people seem to read this forum: I've started a league over at Yahoo. League ID#: 85225 pw: biggio It's a 12 team, 23 player per team, rotisserie league. I figured we could do an offline draft here a cc.net, or somewhere else, and then I'd add them in manually since draft times currently suck. Any changes made to the scoring system can be made, so if you'd prefer something different, let me know. There are 6 spots left. We need to do this pretty quick since the season starts in less than a month. Thanks.
Well, when it fills up, we'll figure out a way to set the draft lineup, then just do it in a thread over in the Fantasy Forum.

Under Admin Tools on the website, you should have the option to "randomize" the draft order. (Even though we won't use the site to conduct the draft, this should be fair enough).
OK, I'm not seeing where to do that. I can change the draft order, but I don't see anywhere to do a random order. If I change it to auto or live, will it give me a random order? And if so, will I be able to change it back to an offline draft?
I'm down for a live draft in Yahoo!'s site itself or via a thread in the fantasy forum (the latter is probably easier for everyone else). Anything but an offline draft where we rank players. I hate those!
I stand corrected. I guess you don't have that tool available for an offline draft. Can you change the draft type & change it back? Dunno - don't see why not, but I've been wrong before..... You could just as easily find some random way to hold the lottery (you & Major could draw straws for everyone). It doesn't matter to me what you come up with - I've never thought too much of draft position anyway.
I think you are confusing an offline draft with an "auto-pick" draft. From what you wrote, it sounds like you hate "auto-pick" drafts. In that case, "offline" drafts are your friend - it will take place in on the bbs (over the course of many weeks I am thinking). I think thats what RM95 had in mind.
cuttino is right, I meant I hate auto-pick drafts. Sorry for the confusion. Offline drafts via the BBS (where each team has a time limit to enter their picks, i.e. 24 hours, by posting in the draft thread in the Fantasy forum) are perfectly fine by me!
RM95 you can change the settings from offline to auto to see if you can randomize that way. As long as you don't change the draft status to ready you should be able to change it back. Also if it won't let you use the random button just put teams in a hat and draw. i think we all will trust you. CK
