Lip service. I guess this disproves the theory that the rockets don't respond to fan sentiments on twitter.

Mentioned this on another thread, but seemed more apropos here... Sampson seems to imply in this interview that they want the point guard getting assists first and points second. That certainly wasn't the ratio Jeremy was getting in the second Mavs game, but Beverly was. That might factor in in addition to the "energy" and "defense". Of course, it also makes sense for Jeremy to get more points when Harden is having problems, so who knows.

    Why should we be angry?
There is no sweeter feeling than the Rockets losing when Jeremy is not playing... it proves the point of McFail being a fail and stupid rockets fans to be stupid like you :)
    It's a win win situation!

Seems real... but, consider the events leading up to it.

11:22 83-89 Dirk Nowitzki makes 15-foot two point shot
11:04 Chandler Parsons makes 26-foot three point jumper (Patrick Beverley assists) 86-89
10:53 86-92 Dirk Nowitzki makes 26-foot three point jumper (Jae Crowder assists)
10:38 Francisco Garcia misses 23-foot three point jumper 86-92
10:37 Patrick Beverley offensive rebound 86-92
10:19 Chandler Parsons makes 29-foot three point jumper (Patrick Beverley assists) 89-92
10:07 89-92 Mike James bad pass (Patrick Beverley steals)
10:02 Thomas Robinson makes two point shot (Patrick Beverley assists) 91-92
    9:48 Mavericks Full timeout

Judging by the fact that he hit two 3-pointers McHale must have said a smartass comment and Parsons was jokingly nudging back.

Jeremy is fine with sitting out in the 4th. He said it himself.

Don't have to imagine, it was Lowry at the end of last season. He wasn't happy.

I really don't know what to say to the people who seriously think that he is fine with it.

You're right! I just absolutely LOVE the feeling of losing! This just proves some Lin fans don't care about the rockets and only about Lin. (note I said some, don't get pissed off Lin fans)

LOL Damn J.R., time to change that tampon girlfriend!
What do you expect? People to celebrate a loss? Praise McHale's genius decision to bench half of his starters in the most important minutes?

Yeah, I expected nothing less from Jeremy, he's a classy dude.
What did people think he would say?
"I don't know whatta hell the coach was thinking, we might've won had I been in there. "Hot hand" my ass, Patrick didn't score ****!"
that's just not Jeremy. Though he did shockingly get his first technical not long ago, maybe Jeremy Artest is closer than we think :p

Lowry to Jeremy: I know that feel bro, I know that feel.

looks real to me. Heated moments happen between players and coaches, and good for Parsons. Mchale's just a poor motivator, yelling at professional players like they're high school kids. He hasn't earned that kind of respect, he thinks he Popovich.

lets wait and see who eventually comes out on the top.

you can't have your starters sitting on the bench to watch other ppl to close out games. either mchale changes his starting rotation or he is changed. i won't have confidence on a coach who doesn't have confidence on his starters. otherwise, what is the point to have a starting rotation. if he keeps doing it, eventually something is going to happen.

The same thing you would say to people who thinks McHale's quotes from tabloid media sources should be taken at face value.
