perfect scenario for Brooks and Morey. Morey doesn't lose any flexability next year giving AB 2.5 million and Aaron gets paid twice in one year with the buyout he just got. He's happy and Morey is happy. All if forgiven.

One of the things I love about AB coming back is that we actually get to see him play alongside Harden, Lin, and Beverley... it's no longer a scenario of "what if", it's more like a tiny little window into the recent past and we get to see how it stacks up against the present. I'm really excited by this.

Can we trade him to the Suns for Goran Dragic?

AB is getting his number back, not sure if this is posted anywhere else:
    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocke...s-number-back-robinson-gets-to-be-determined/

Those that still have the Aaron Brooks No. 0 replica Rockets jerseys can be in fashion again.

Brooks received his old uniform number back from Thomas Robinson, who had worn the No. 0 this season with Sacramento and since the trade from the Kings to the Rockets. Compensation, however, is still be to be determined.

Brooks said Robinson was simply kind enough to let him have the number because Brooks let him have it when both joined the Kings this season.

“It was a great favor,” Brooks said. “When I got to Sacramento, the No. 0 was actually mine. He played the preseason with it, but they said it was mine. I let him have it. I think that good faith led to this, him saying it was all right for me to have the number. It wouldn’t be right to wear another number. Plus, all the other numbers I would wear (he wore the No. 3 with the Kings that is taken by Omer Asik with the Rockets) were taken as well.”

Brooks chose the number in college when he was told the No. 30 he had been wearing had been retired in honor of Ronnie Lee.

“Coach asked me what number I wanted,” Brooks said. “I told him, ‘I don’t really want a number. I want to wear 30.’ So he said ‘You can ask Ron Lee if you can wear it,’ but I wasn’t going to do that so he just gave me zero.”

Robinson said Kansas fans are upset that he changed out of his previous number. He will wear No. 41, which he said is a reference to his home town. It also adds up to his draft position as the fifth player taken, but that is just a coincidence. Robinson would not further explain the connection to the number.

“Those that know, that’s for them to know,” he said. “Zero was like my thing, but he was generous enough to give it to me when I went to Sac. I returned the favor.”

Asked if he will receive any compensation, Robinson said “That’s to be determined.”

If Morey wanted Dragic's albatross contract, then Morey would have given it to him in the first place. However, if PHO wants to throw in a couple 1sts for us to absorb Dragic's contract, then Morey may just entertain the offer.

coulda given us a lot of needed offense tonight. AB's main strength is he can needle his way through and open things up to prevent the offense from stagnating.

I think Beverly and Brooks could work in some cases. Beverly is scrappy enough on defense to check some sg's.

The reason was because AB thought of himself as "THE MAN" at the time when he obviously wasn't or at least would never be on a good team. He couldn't stand losing his starting job and through a hissy fit before we threw him out of town via trade. It seems he realized now after his stint with the Suns, China, and Kings that he is no where close to being "THE MAN" on any competitive team.
