I don't think you are being silly for wanting to call him out on the carpet over an issue you feel strongly about. Let the kid have it. I'm the one being silly for playing with him, but I do it only to distract him from disturbing everyone else.

It doesn't matter how old you are to be a Rocket fan. But it does matter how old you act. Playa has a lot of growing up to do. The parental instincts in me compel me to keep these kids in line when they are among adults.

I saw the game where they upset Kansas in the NCAA tourney (and eventually knocked out Bryce Drew's "miracle" Valpo team). Tyson had 20 and Mobley had 27-29 I think. even the game announcers said the win had more to do with Mobley's ability, which Tyson fed off of, than Wheeler's play.

Wheeler was more important throughout most of their careers. Wheeler was the floor general, he was the point. Also wheeler came out big as a freshman. I remember joking on Mobley because he was so damn skinny and had a funny name. Mobley began to shine during his junior year, and dominated the A-10 his senior year. Mobley also blew up in the A-10 tourney, and NCAA. its no doubt that he is a clutch player. Look at his first NBA game. there was one game back in collage when Mobley bagged 8 3 pointers in one game to tie the school record. That record was owned my Wheeler.

They were just about the best guard combo in collage basketball, and would be quite sucesfull in the NBA.

Man, you guys are all missing the point. Tyson Wheeler is a stud, I mean come on he's only barely struggling to make the NBA. He just barely got into camp with the Sonics and is playing a whopping 4 MPG in the preseason. The guy rocks, he should be MVP....

Cuttino Mobley, no doubt is a very good player. We should be thankful that we have him plus Shandon. I think this is the best our shooting guard position has been in years. Remember back then when all we had was Tracy Moore, Sam Mack, Tim Breaux.

Not that joining the reason club will persuade playahater, but Mobley can lay a good argument for being our 2nd best player, and no one with half a brain would put him lower than #3 in importance.

Cuttino rocks and was a draft steal, and we are very fortunate to have him for the salary we do. Compare him with with Cato, Dream (I recognize his salary is for past achievements so I am not saying he doesn't deserve it) or Walt, Cuttino not only is one of our best two players but he is a great value.

Forget whether Stevie and Cuttino make an undersized backcourt, let's see who can stay with them. We need our bigger positions to compensate for defense and rebounding--a la NY and Phily. We are not going to beat LAL, SA or Portland by out sizing them, but down the line we may get too quick for them to handle. That is this teams future, and Mobley is a major part of that.
