McHale MUST go. He is an idiot. If you don't believe your starters, DON'T start them. Asik and Lin both 25 millions for 3 years and yet, they are bench at the 4th. Asik - one of the top 5 in rebound Lin - One of the top 5 in steal. One of top 20 or so in assist.
Does McHale not understand how bad he is himself at coaching? I mean all these r****ded substitutions and playmaking especially at the end of games must at least hint to McHale that maybe he should start changing his way of thinking.
There are a lot of idiots who love to defend McHale and his rotations and bash LOFs for b****ing about JL sitting on the bench and Beverley finishing games. How do those people defend THIS Dallas game? Asik and Lin riding the pine the whole fourth. Absolutely ridiculous coaching. McHale decides the best chance for his team to win is to NOT play his starters who played WELL. what was Beverley's line? What was TRob's line? Atrocious. FIRE MCHALE. SIGNED. PERMANENTLY.
Now, even I am tired of McFail's coaching, Morey has to run some stats model on coach selection.......
Yeah, I like Lin but I am not a LOF. It just don't make sense that you bench your starting PG who had a MONSTER GAME 3 NIGHTS BEFORE and is playing well today for the last 15 minutes!!! Yeah, Beverly played well but not great! He had 0 points. McFail, just go away!!
Houston Rockets 8 - 17 in games decided by 8 points or less. But I'm sure playing rookies during crunch-time is bound to pay off at some point.
Hmmm...I seem to notice a trend among those posting in this thread that McHale should be fired. Looks like they all created their accounts after Jeremy Lin was acquired by the team, and it looks like they are particularly upset after a game in which Lin was not given a lot of playing time. Lin fans -- you suck. Lin's a pretty good player, but you Lin fans are egregiously terrible. The reason Lin gets so much flak is not because he is Asian, but because his zombie fans get on everyone's nerves.
