We have had some amazing centers in this organization from Malone, Hakeem, Sampson to Yao Ming.

    What do you guys think?

    That depends.

Is he going to play 8 seasons with the Rockets?

I have a huge Mutombo bias, so I'll say 6th.

I would put him second if he contributed in 2 nba championships to the city of Houston.

Depends on how long he stays here. Currently, I still have the 4 in the OP plus Mutombo above him.

Seems everyone has left the Big E , Elvin Hayes off their lists ....

Some people might consider the Big E a forward. I've always thought of him as more of a center, especially when he played for us early in his career.

Hrm...if he keeps up this kind of statline?

    Top 5:
    Hakeem Olajuwon
    Moses Malone
    Yao Ming
    Ralph Sampson
    Dikembe Mutombo

So Asik could definitely be a top 10 caliber center for Houston.

Id say #5 since Sampson played PF most of his time with the Rockets.

    Hakeem #1
    Malone #2
    Yao #3
    Mutumbo #4

No love for Kevin Willis? Like Mutombo, he played a big role for the Rockets when Hakeem went down.

My list is in order of the Rockets history. Big E was the first great center for the franchise. Than came Moses followed by Sampson and Hakeem and than Yao.
