First of all, you need define what is "youth" PG, 1. Any PG younger than 24, 2. Any PG with less than 3000 minutes NBA experience, PG match both criteria would be called "youth"PG, In this definition, Westbrook is a veteran, not a "youth"with seemingly untapped potential.
This is basketball not MMA. Lin is probably one of the toughest pound for pound guys in the NBA as far as being able to take physical punishment and bouncing back up.
Anybody noticed nobody mentioned "going left"? What was once mentioned as one of his weakness is no longer in the conversation. Good for Jlin.
i don't like others to pray that him will magically be a superstar one day. he is what he is. he is not turning into parker no matter how he trys. he is limited but very good at some areas. if he is used correctly, he will look like a superstar. otherwise, he is just a solid pg at best.

A young PG developing...
http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/4299/jeremy-lin Steady improvements all year and yet all you haters continue to hate.
His shooting is unpredictable...He has too many mechanics to his shot..He needs to simplify his shot..Use his legs more..Better the elevation..better chance you'll make the shot Teach basic concepts rather then mechanics..2 ways to shoot a shot...arm stregnth and momentum..If you use momentum your shot will be more consistant
his weakness is off-the court things , what i mean he is a guy who made 800k last year but slept on his brother's sofa . he is clearly thinking of the money wisely , must be thinking of investment and other business stuff that take his mind of the ball . in short phrase : he can be distracted , not easily focused sometimes
That's an idiotic statement. Two different position. Durant want be controlling the ball like Harden is. Do you watch any basketball?
That isn't what the guy said. When you have to resort to this argument you have lost. All he saying is Lin fans blame everyone else when Lin doesn't play well. You LOFs only want Lin to do well. If Lin plays well and we win great, but if he doesn't play well even if we win the LOFs start spewing McFail, Racism, etc.
LOL... geez.. i really hope you're kidding. seriously, jeremy has GOT to be the only NBA player scrutinized to this extent. Not LeBron, not Kobe, no one else is under this type of microscope. NO ONE cares about what NBA players do off the court except when it comes to Lin. i'll bet when he start dating someone, people will complain about her not being hot enough to be a WAG. Simply ridiculous.
I beg to differ. I DO NOT blame everyone when Lin doesn't play well...you have to look at the whole context of the game and then move forward with hte blame. Some games it's just not Lin's night....all players, even elite players, have terrible games. However, I do blame McFail for a good chunk of games for his somewhat "irrational" subbing stints.
LOL...this sure came out of nowhere. To be fair, in every sport, it's ALWAYS about the money. Players may state or comment about it otherwise, but that's just so untrue. How many NBA has opted not to get paid and play for free because they love the game so much? It's laughable when players say it's not about the money....it's ALWAYS been about the money.
All of those players are 1st or second options on their teams and run the offense. Lin doesn't do this. Compare him to the Mario Chalmers of the league. You cant take a player who's usage rate is considerably lower than theirs, not to mention his role in the offense is completely different and expect them to put up the same type of numbers. Lin is a solid starter who has little experience, that's about it.
