Nope, this isn't what you're expecting, its not another thread about some fine chick (although she's not awful looking...that's besides the point) It's about a 28 year old female soccer player who tried out as a kicker for the nfl. There was a lot of hype in NY over her being a female trying out. Well her try out went as well as the cliche of females in men's Sport's. it fizzled and was a novelty act. Sucks to think someone with a more honest potential list the chance to get paid, but hey it is what it is. What are your guys' opinions? Vid: and... I've had a pulled quad. I was out of commission for the Dynamo Chairities Cup... my team lost the championship game.
Cringed after watching the first attempt...and couldnt watch the rest of the video... What a terrible PR stunt... embarrassed women everywhere...and has officially killed the debate on whether women can play in the NFL with the boys... Now this gal has a chance: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/cdIOOY43HWs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ah, the old "start limping when you screw up" technique. Usually only seen in pick-up basketball, bold move Silberman, bold move.

Yeah. I'm calling BS on the "injury". Looks to me like homegirl just didn't kick well. Her whole approach before even kicking was all jacked up...almost stutter-steps. Here's her "highlight" from YouTube. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/aags9kY2k8s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> She's just not that good. It's fairly obvious that this girl had absolutely no experience kicking a football before. The timing of her strides was completely off, and she used the same form as kicking a soccer ball. This was nothing more than a publicity stunt, and the people supporting her probably have no real clue about what it takes to be a professional kicker. They saw her kick a ball in the air, and said, "You should be a kicker!" That was a terrible waste of time....especially given the fact that at the end, she still claimed that it was to cast a spotlight on women in sports. Was that seriously your motive in all this, because if it was, then you basically just completely contradicted what you set out to do.
