DMo to start because he has post up game which Rockets lack. So, to get the offense going from the start of the game, start DMo. But bring in TR to play roughly equivalent minutes for his defense and rebounding. Depending on the matchup on any particular night, it is good to have both and be able to have the option to play whoever is the better matchup.
Howard is not that tall how you making to be. He's 6'9 with out shoes to begin with, and he's not that much of an offensive force like you making him to be.
I don't know man, I really the wolf a lot. There's something about him I really like. His confidence, attitude, post moves, he can hit that 3 point shot, his hook shot is awesome, and he's a 7 footer. That gives us size advantage over other teams. But if Tommy get his confidence together and plays like he did in college last year I might take him over the wolf. But it's going to be tough. But right now The Wolf!
Very creative for people to compare DMo's ceiling to other Europeans. LOL. I'd say his absolute ceiling is something like Chris Bosh. But I doubt he will ever board and defend as well as Bosh. Have no idea what TRob's ceiling is. Haven't seen enough of him. Undersized height wise but with pretty long arms. Freakish athleticism.
They have potential to be two very different types of players. D-Mo could be a dominant post scorer with range with a Euroleague style. Rebounds well, defends well. (Think Dirk) T-Rob could be an athletic defensive freak with playmaking ability. So far most of his points have come off open layups and dunks, so who knows what his offensive potential is. For someone like this, think J-Smoove Either way, the Rockets are in a good position. My personal preferance is D-Mo, simply because he is my favorite player.
I see T-Rob developing more into a prime Stoudemire type of player, getting his points by running up and down the floor on fastbreaks, on PNRs and on cuts. T-Rob is already one of the quickest players in the whole NBA. Just imagine a 6'9" PF attacking the rim like a guard?!
Thats a tough one. If they both pan out in 3 years, Asik will be 29 and expiring. Maybe think about dealing Asik then? Love him to death right now, but putting Mo at the 5 (he'd have to add defense of course) and Rob at the 4 (he'd have to add some post moves), would be crazy good. Lin Harden Parsons Robinson Motiejunas Holy crap, thats scary if they pan out!
OT DMO is becoming one of the favorite rockets of Jlin fans. He's all over Jlin's fan sites. By the way, I did not vote because I like them both.
