The Pacers will be outpaced, and then put out of the playoff race.

    Book it.

plus last year David West was at about 70% coming off ACL surgery, and Lance Stevenson wasn't in the rotation, and they had no backup to Hibbert with size (Mahinmi is a solid backup), plus their defense overall is far, far better

BS, they don't have a single all star level player. And no, Pauil George does not count, at least not yet. He's a good player, but not a great one.

The Heat are still the class of the East.

The Heat are definitely the class of the East and will most likely make the Finals again.

But how can you say the Pacers don't have a single all star level player when Paul George was their single all star player this year? LOL how can he "not count"? He's had a great season.

and David West is a twice all star who's playing at his prime level this year - albeit he can't play 38-39 minutes every night.

The Heat may be the class of the East, but saying the Pacers have no all star level players is ludicrous, they have 2.

Maybe is LBJ's knee injury is more serious than it looked.

I like Paul George but I think he still struggle just like last year tough task for him having to Guard lebron and being guarded by Lebron

Paul George didn't deserve his AS appearance IMO. He's not there yet--like I said, he's a good player, but he's not a star. Maybe he'll get to the point where he deserves to be considered an all star, but not yet.

David West is borderline. He's better than Paul George, but I don't quite consider him there.

The Pacers are a well balanced all around team, kind of like a slightly better version of what the Rockets were the past few years. They are benefiting a lot from playing in the Leastern conference, however. They would be battling for a playoff spot in the West.

Unless you consider Carmelo a PF, a now-healthy David West is the best PF in the East, over the overrated Bosh.

I guarantee you that the Miami HEAT will not come out of the WEST.

Idk what LBJ does on the court lol.

Only way the Heat don't come out is if Lebron,Wade or Bosh gets injured.

I would take Bosh over West ten times out of ten. Bosh could be a 20/10 guy, he chooses to focus more on defense and efficiency so that LeBron/Wade can dominate the ball more.

In fact, if I could have any PF in the NBA to play alongside Harden... it might be Bosh.

for a guy focusing on defense, he is been pretty lousy. His rebounding numbers sucks, seriously... 7 rpg on 34 mpg. And his blocks... only 1.2.
He is not a defender and he will never be. He is just the third guy of the miami heat.
I do think the pacers have a chance... but its not a really big one. Miami is a better team and they probably win the east. I dont see many teams beating them... in the east, only indiana, and in the west only san antonio and okc have a chance. They are the favourites to win it all.

So since Paul George didn't deserve to make the all-star team who should have made it over him?

The guy is a averaging 18 pts, 8 rebs,, 4 ast, 2 stls

How is that not worth of an all-star bid in a weakened league today. I mean this is the same all-star team that featured Luol Deng

Former is the word. He has really regressed this season. He was shooting around 40% for the season the last time I checked which is horrible for a big man. Truly the worst pick for my fantasy team.

i think Bosh has been a brilliant scorer this year. i won't double check, but i remember checking his shot locations a month or so ago, and he was basically breaking records when it comes to midrange accuracy. a historically efficient midrange game this year by Bosh.

that said, West is better at nearly everything else. I think both of them should've been all stars. in fact, i'd find spots for West, Al Horford, Steph Curry and Marc Gasol this year over some of the 'bigger' names or flashier players that got selected.
West didn't make it (imo) because his scoring cooled off a little right when the coaches had to make their picks. but he's brilliant.

i don't know how Paul George isn't an all star. he's going to be all defense if there's any fairness. that's besides his offense which is better than other defensive all stars like Deng this year or Iguodala last year. Even if you include the horrible start to the season when he was learning the role (and if you don't, since the Chicago game in early December he's basically 19-9-4 on 55%+ TS with lockdown D, that's closer to superstar than non-all star).
i'm really curious to see the list of all stars if George doesn't belong.

To be honest, this feels like a typical extreme statement to extreme statement situation.
"Pacers will knock out the Heat, book it" - extreme. They'll have a shot, but it's hard to consider them a top 4 team in the league yet. So it provokes extremes responses. Like 'no all stars' and 'battling for playoff spot in the West' (when they have winning records vs. both conferences). It's just as extreme.

so after we beat Thunders, Clippers, Spurs, we are going to face Pacers? Freaky Pacers? what a buzz kill, it is almost too easy.
