No, he was lying about sling box. He does not keep up with this team. Steve Francis ranks far above Tmac. He needs to do more than Franchise for the franchise and he'll earn his forgiveness.
And real rockets fans booed him when he came back as a hawk and a piston. Why do you think I would feel disappointed from this? Doesn't change anything in the history of the rockets. Doesn't change that his fans are still delusional. The crowd cheering or booing doesnt change anything in reality. And it won't change clutchfans. There will still be tofs who make threads of him to players who've done more .

Don't forget that this man's NBA career was cut short because of himself. If he was really working as hard as he made it seem, he'd still be in the NBA. I think the whole teams ethic kept Yao from making it back. Imagine Yao's rehabilitation with a legic staff. Dude might still be playing Sabonis style.
Anyone got video? Yes he screwed over the franchise but when you love something so much all you go on is what could have happened. Really wish he stayed healthy. Oh the possibilities.
Overall T-Mac is a good guy. Yes he has some diva in him, and he doesn't have the dedication of a Kobe Bryant but the guy was a beast for us for several years and without him those we would have been complete trash. So to answer your question, yes i am willing to forgive those last few years where he tanked it and didn't seem to give his all. Keep in mind the guy was injured it wasn't as if he just left the team hanging.

Those two statements are as accurate as it gets! Tmac fans adore him for his unnatural God given talent while ignoring his lack of character. I definitely enjoyed watching him play UNTIL he decided to throw his teammates under the bus! We all know the issues he was having with management at he time concerning his health, regardless that is not an excuse for quitting on your teammates!! Going AWOL on your teammates is the quickest way to lose respect in any sport. Also the fact that he had knee surgery without telling the Rockets in the middle of trade negotiations. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3916786 ............. ............. .............
It is not an issue of forgiveness (I don't hate him); it is about disappointment. The TMac/Yao era was about high expectations punctuated by crushing disappointments. In TMac's case it wasn't all about health issues. He lacked the character and personal maturity of Yao, and that was disappointing.
What are you talking about? Did you watch the games? TMac played great in the playoffs. He was the main guy in the Dallas series (including that awesome dunk). You seem to have let T-Mac's quitting on the team during his final year here cloud your judgement. T-Mac walking the court during the Toronto game(I believe it was was the worst). T-Mac during the playoffs was amazing, but he was unable to lead the team past the first round. I don't like that, but I don't think he has to be forgiven for that. T-Mac's real problem was that once he was physically unable to use the gifts he'd had his whole career, he was unable to recognize that and make the adjustments he needed to maximize his capability. There were games where T-Mac quit on the team. There were games when T-Mac carried the team, and went above and beyond. If you look at one, you should also look at the other. That's why I'm kind of neutral to T-Mac. Him supporting the Rockets now is a plus for him. But I'm never going to forget the bad moments where it seemed like he didn't care about the team. I just take it in stride because it wasn't a whole season where he did that, or his whole time in Houston. I didn't like that about him, but it's nothing I need to forgive. I'm grateful for all he did for the team.
Yes. Even though he did give us **** the last seasons, and I was probably one of the most anti-tmacs, on tinman level, I think its time.
