Ditto to what you said. I also want to add that I love the fan atmosphere in TC again, the one we had a few years ago, because there is something to believe in again with our team and with Harden on board.
Besides the TV situation, I like this team. Harden is clearly the future. Team has a good deal of young talent. Unlike some of you, I did not think that Patterson and Morris were part of it. Never cared much for their games. i do want the "shuffling" to stop. Just build around Harden. I really like D-Mo, Parsons, Asik and I think we have not seen the best of Lin. Robinson looks like a dud so far, but he make come around.
All this team has to do is make the playoffs and the season is considered an over achieving success. When the playoff starts, they're going to play loose with no expectations. Being the highest scoring offense, look out whoever we play!!
Who in the league would ever say this team is underachieving? How would anyone have a reasonable expectation that at this point of the year we would be in a good spot to make the playoffs and maybe go as high as 6 in the West? What would you consider over achieving for this team? I'm just happy that the team is performing better than I or a lot of "experts" had believed they would. I'm happy McHale decided to go with a run 'n gun offense instead of sticking to what he knows and loves best in an inside-out offense. I'm happy we have James Harden.
It started as a game of put the round thing in the circle thing. Now you can talk to other people through a pipe under the ocean, a series of tubes, or through the air via invisible waves about this round thing in the circle thing game. It's a beautiful day to be alive.
I am happy about the softness of our schedule for the rest of the year. 13 of our last 22 games are against teams with a losing record. We get to play Phoenix three times and Sacramento twice and Cleveland / Orlando / Minnesota once, all teams with less than 22 wins and 35% winning percentage or worse.
I'm happy about the progress this team has made since beginning of the season. Playoffs or not our future is bright. Go rockets
i'm glad, that despite our phenomenal early success, DaReel Mouldy has not lost sight of the big picture. long term success > playoff cameo.
