Jeremy Lin is a streaky shooter, he plays extremely well in the first quarter of every game, but we have seen how long McHale keeps Lin on the bench (Today subbed out after 8 minutes in the first, subbed in with 6 minutes left in the half, 10 minutes on bench.) McHale's rotation may be working for guys like Beverly but it is not working for Lin, who loses much of his rhythm while benched for so long and comes back to become the Lin we've seen for many of the games this season. Lin needs consistent minutes to be consistent, at least change up the rotations so he does not have to sit out for so long, McHale can do this easily as he did during our winning streak in December where he staggered Lin and Harden's minutes and allowed Lin to handle the ball more, this can work out as Lin's shooting has improved greatly and he has learned to play off the ball much better, he should be given more consistent minutes if McHale truly wishes for Jeremy Lin to be an integral part of this team.

Would rather trade McHale, but yeah if nothing else we can get something good for Lin when the season is done.

The quality of the board seems to be the lowest I can remember.

Lin's minutes are going down because they truly belong to Beverley. At least they should. I'm tired of this team being held hostage by Lin love.

I observed this in earlier games but seldom in recent games. Possibly because when Harden is on the floor without Lin he tends to ISO more and the defense is worse.

Your post sucks because Lin doesn't suck. If you don't like him that's fine but just to say he sucks isn't a true statement.

We are stuck with Lin. No one in their right mind would pay Lin that much fully guaranteed 15 million unless he put up CP3 numbers. Lin is no Chris Paul. Not even a Lin Fan Boy can honestly say that Lin is or will ever be a Chris Paul.

The best we could hope for is that he becomes a good solid PG.

That's not the case at all. Beverley has played well lately and I'm glad to see that, and tonight the team actually ran well with him in there and I don't have a problem with him finishing the game when he is rolling like he was. That doesn't make him better than Lin it is obvious that he isn't. Hopefully he will get to that point because it is better for the team but I doubt he will ever become as good as Lin.

    Yes please trade Lin now.

I will love to see the CF comments when the Rockets don't make the playoffs.

It is a shame but necessary to get rid of the LOF's. I will miss him. Bye!

Glad to see 60% of this board thinks we should trade him. I've been saying it since day 1. He's a good player, but not a fit with our team and our offense. He could do his Linsanity thing some other place where he'll get more attention and opportunity. Houston is not the place. Right now all we get is Linconsistant.

Trade him and get a PG that can compliment harden, preferably a star player.

Funny because you're a late 2012er which means you're automatically categorized as a LOF.

Good riddance..for both sides! at least we Lin fans we'll be blessed not to corrupt our minds with hatred by some people who thinks they are above on somebody else only because they were "here" first....

This kind of thread makes me rethink why I bother with the team..No offense to the OP ( the content and intention is right but the rxn of some poster are blood-pressure inducing ) but those "people" who keeps on hating the Lin fans because we are expressing our opinion is what I hated the most in this forum....

well, whenever Lin will play next we will always be there for him...Barring injury, Lin will always be and will be playing for a long time in the NBA..unlike some other flashy players that will disappear in the oblivion when the management thinks that they doesn't need them anymore..

At least with Lin, his millions of fans will always be there for him..and that counts if you think NBA as a business....which most of the owners are..just saying...
