Looks like somebody has a problem and is kind of ignorant. I wonder under what conditions he visited some parts of Mexico and how much money he invested into such trips... I've been to many, many restaurants in different parts of Mexico and they are just as good as any where else or even better than any place I have visited, including Europe!!!

There's a place called Marisco's in Austin that is incredibly good and relatively inexpensive.

Anyone who thinks this is a bad place foe mexican food needs to realize that Pico's Mex Mex is about 1/2 block towards Bellaire and has always received rave reviews by everyone in town.

Bottom line... If you want good food, you ain't going to find it in Kingwood...or Spring..., or Katy..., or anywhere you damn suburbanites live!

Thanks Glynch! I don't mean to break your balls, I know my antipolitico post came at the expense of your Powell thread but I was just starting to notice this rift growing bigger and bigger between the two political camps and everyday there being a thread aimed at provoking the other camp - not just your threads - everybody. Well we are all Rockets fans here, and that is the most important thing dammit. Let's try to be objective or subjective, whatever the first english major who reads this thinks applies best. Oh yeah, and thanks for not getting all nuclear on my a$$. I know you have more pull on this site than I do and you could have run me out of town. Instead you saw that I was a person who was more valuable as a friend than a nothing.

And yes, Mambos is damn good. I always order a gringo, which is a scotch, no water, no ice. I don't remember how the food tastes:)
