Google the phrase "mar1juana-induced psychosis" -- pot triggering long-term psychological changes is actually pretty common. Percentage-wise, it's still rare, but there are many, many documented cases. It's usually people who are borderline "unstable" to begin with, or who have mental-health issues hiding just below the surface. Weed seems to bring that to the surface in some people.
It's pretty well known that a lot of the mar1juana sold these days can be laced with meth or PCP. Search for "mar1juana laced with meth" in google to get an idea. Drug dealers do it to get you addicted to their product since mar1juana by itself is not addictive. So it's rare for mar1juana to cause the kind of aggressive paranoia that you see with Royce, but quite common for meth to have that effect. mar1juana can flip people out if smoked heavily - so heavily that they start having bad trips. But it's extremely unlikely that occasional mar1juana use will have that effect - unless it's laced with meth. This is not to say he's telling the truth, or not telling the truth. I'm just throwing this factoid out there. Frankly, Royce has the general demeanor of some friends of mine from Berkeley that smoke daily, lol.
They announced the agreement at the end of Jan. to go to D-league on Feb. 11 and I was one of the people that wondered, "Why doesn't he go down right now?". Now we know why.

Royce White is making the 34-hour drive in an RV because of his anxiety issues to play this one game for the Vipers and then turning around and making the 34-hour drive right back. Word in Vipers' circles is that his nickname is now "Winnebago." Word also is that he has multiple drivers to keep the RV rolling but that it's still, basically, a week-long adventure to play one minor-league game.
Seriously. I have a love/hate relationship with this board. It's really more of a sociology/psychology board than basketball at this point.
