just to correct my previous post

    ...

Under normal cirscumstances, you "DON'T" sign/trade a player and then try to change his way of playing. Although sometimes it does but is uncommon

Really? Here is Arenas avg# in prime over THREE seasons.

    Arenas
yr FG% 3P% Ft% PPG RPG APG SBG BPG TO
    04-05 43.1 36.5 81.4 25.5 4.7 5.1 1.7 .3 3.06
    05-06 44.7 36.9 82.0 29.3 3.5 6.1 2.0 .3 3.58
    06-07 41.8 35.1 84.4 28.4 4.6 6.0 1.9 .2 3.19

    Harden
    12-13 45.4 36.1 85.4 26.4 4.8 5.7 1.9 .5 3.80

Both are Allstars, prolific scorers, attack the rim, good passers and bad defenders...heck I think Arenas was a better defender. Who's the ignorant one?

If Harden is carrying the team then it is only fair that he'll take the fall every time they LOST...and not the freakin "PG" who is not even the PG of the team...if the team wins it is because of Harden...if they lost it is because of his team mates not scoring when needed....

You know what, basketball is not only about scoring....

Wow glad I didn't watch this though that buzzer beater was like Mad Max in the house! It's probably good that we lost, we need to learn from these games because it seems like we were already cruising in the 1st quarter after being up 18-4.

Lin had green light to do anything with the Knicks (w/o Melo), now with him as not the primary scorer on the Rockets, he has to take a back seat.

This is a good loss, it is better to lose a buzzer beater in the regular season than the post-season. The only team that is running away from the pack are the Grizzlies, the 4th seed. I'd be worry if we gotten blown out by the last 2 teams we played, if we had gotten the ball bounce our way, it would of been 2-0. Rockets are a good team, unlike the Texans who blow smoke with their record.

missed the game but based on the reaction on this board i guess it was a good thing...cant talk about this game but i am always kind of annoyed when people talk about needing a 2nd star...for what exactly? scoring? I think harden and co have demonstrated that we really dont have trouble putting points on the board...there have only been a couple of games where we had trouble putting up points and most of those were schedule losses like that wolves game

what we really need is another banger and wing defender...asik cant do it alone but lets give d-mo and t-rob a chance...we need someone else to grab boards and protect the paint i dont see why one of them cant be that guy down the line

i think by far our biggest need is a wing defender...we just dont have one and we cant expect harden to do what he does AND play elite D...every team that has won a championship has had at least one lock-down wing defender...i thought chandler might be that guy but it looks like the coaching staff have different plans for him...whatever happens we need someone out on the wing...im tired of average to below-average 2's and 3's have career highs against us

were going through a bit of a rough patch but that cant be helped after trading away 4 of our rotation guys...freaking morey...only he would pull off this kind of trade at the beginning of the final stretch...if we can make it work and make some noise in the playoffs i cant see how anyone else can win exec of the year

I have one question not related to the match, where to find the old game threads? seems old ones will not be displayed in the list when next game thread is displayed.

If we'd traded for Redick instead of TR, we'd've won last night. Heck, if we'd made no trade at all, we'd've won last night. In the long run, if DMo improves, the trade will prove Morey's brilliance: forcing McHale to play DMo.

2-2 since the all star break, we better start winning again.

We won two games we weren't supposed to and we lost two games we should've won.

As Lakers fans say, "the season starts now".

Need to take out their frustration on the Magic and carry that momentum forward against Dallas.

I hope Garcia (rest Delfino's elbow), TJ (motivate TRob), and Ohlbrecht (motivate Smith) will get a few minutes tomorrow.

Last I checked, we are the youngest team in the league this season. On further review, our rotation got even younger after the all-star break, trading players with 2 - 4 years experience for a rookie, and last night, we bumped into our starting line-up another rookie, D-Mo. We have had 1 game with D-Mo starting and we lost by 1 possession. We lost to the Wizards by 1 possession. I for one am jot concerned about this team. If we got blown out the last two games and everyone looked completely lost I would be frustrated. These two losses were almost wins and more playing time together will resolve this. I am freaking impressed by this team!

This trade was done for the future. Not to help us make the playoffs. If the result is this, so be it. Better to miss it this year and be stronger next.

I still think we have a good shot as any to make it without P Pat.
