At the risk of losing possibly his last stab at being a NBA head coach... Doubt it, McHale had Celtic pride, but I highly doubt he is that prideful.
Dude, just stop, now you're ragging on Lin for a game he had no business playing in...you want rip him for going 4-10 tonight (that missed shot was a pass, no doubt), then by all means go for it
They lost as a team, mostly poor coaching, bad turnovers and bench sucks Likely Lin's not fully recovered 100% from the flu yet. Maybe he infected Parsons or Delfino a bit visible from their low percentage shots, probably due to blurred vision and such
Lin was sick during the Wizards game and looked like he was busy trying not to puke after the first quarter. And when your coach publicly calls you out and says he doesn't want Lin to get 29 pts and have 9 TOs (which he's never had), then you're going to play tentatively. He's taking away the best parts of Lin's game by saying that. Lin's an aggressive point guard. If the coach is constantly worried about his TOs and getting on him about it, he's going to take away Lin's game. JVG said the best thing the OKC coaches ever did was not trying to change him. The Rockets coaches are doing the exact opposite.
BBS in meltdown mode and the anti-Lin conspiracy theories are running rampant after a loss. Predictable.
I am the first to admit Lin is not doing great, but its because dude needs PnR plays, he cant just go and take over a game and finish in the paint with big guys waiting for him. He just doesnt have that skillset. But the coaching staff just doesn't design plays for him because I guess he is a role player. Anyway, the way Lin is used, he would under perform no doubt.
Cause he didn't, lol. If anything, he had an average game. Perhaps slightly below average. It's not like he shot 4-20 or something, like some of those awful game he had earlier in the season. And idk what the hell you're talking about with that last sentence. You outta there. Loss definitely wasn't on them, if that's what you're trying to say. Rockets missed like 15 free throws. Our team consists of more than two players. They did better than most other players.
JVG said the best thing the OKC coaches ever did was not trying to change him. By him, I mean Westbrook. This game has me so mad, I'm typing can't keep up with my brain..
You can blame Carl Landry for getting me hooked on SAC. After he left I couldn't stop watching. BTW I watched the first half of the SAC game while I was waiting for tonight's game to start. 2Pat was killing it. I think he only missed one shot in the first half (still not consistent with the 3 LOL).
