I agree, I don't understand why people are so crazy mad. This is what the Rockets are going to be this year. They are a very young, partially built team learning how to play together. Some nights it all comes together and they look great, and other nights it's a bit of a train wreck. With all the new players and changes in the rotation, it's like they are starting all over again. Morey is focused on the future, anything good that happens this year is just a bonus.
If Lin could actually shoot the damn ball or was a more consistent "scorer" I highly doubt McHale would ever tell Lin something like that. McHale is just trying to cover up Lin's weaknesses. P.S. Bringing up McHale to defend Lin's struggles isn't that great of a argument, he has PLENTY of his own faults as well.
Mchale really should let Lin play the whole first half, when he is hot. Rest him in the third quarter to play the 4th quarter.
Loss should be on McFail then- he put TRob in, blew the lead, messed up the scoring momentum, and was basically clueless on substitutions. In any case, how is 29 pts 9 TO by Lin not ok, but 25 pts 7 TO by Harden alright? Rockets still lose anyway.
Lin didn't even seem interested to play until the 4th quarter, when he started taking stupid shots in the pain. We had 3 days of rest over the Bucks and this is the best we could come up with. FML
magics - definitely a win mavs - win mavs - win warriors - 50/50 jazz - win cavs - win spurs - probably a loss jazz - win grizz - win clips - probably a loss magics - definitely a win kings - definitely a win blazers - 50/50 nuggets - 50/50 suns - win grizz - win kings - win suns - win lakers - 50/50 this is what i think will be.
Lin has two easy buckets in the 1st quarter, but he just let his teammates to score instead. He is not a selfish player to rack up his own points.
I think JLin played a perfect game tonight. A couple of dimes, not too many FGAs, looking tentative while driving like a below average scrub and people can blame everything on him. A role coach McHale custom made for him. The kid is coachable.
One lucky last second shot and a whole game of piss poor team defense. That's why we lost. And the LOHs wanted to pin the loss on Lin.
The only thing I'm upset about is that Mchale didn't put in a rebounding squad on the last play. We had a timeout. Just call a timeout after the rebound is secure. EDIT: I'm also upset about that Harden layup that was blocked by Sanders. He knew he had guys behind him and around but Delfino was open.
To be fair to Lin and Harden, TOs are going to happen when you handle the ball as much as Lin and Harden do. Here are some of the current individual turnover leaders in the NBA. #1 - Jrue Holiday - 4.0 per game #3 - James Harden - 3.7 per game #4 - Russel Westbrook - 3.6 per game #5 - Kobe Bryant - 3.6 per game #7 - Kyrie Irving - 3.3 per game #10 - Damian Lillard - 3.1 per game #15 - Deron Williams - 2.9 per game #17 - Jeremy Lin - 2.9 per game #18 - Lebron James - 2.9 per game
