The Lakers actually embrace this postseason chase as fun, according to a current ESPN article (click on link below). Just think, it is actually with the Rockets, if anything. Anyone have any thoughts on that? My thought is that the Lakers will likely be hot on the Rockets' tails from here on out for that final playoff spot with the Portland Trailblazers likely fading away, although the Dallas Mavericks cannot be ruled out as far as being involved in that playoff chase IMO. this is ridiculous... they had more pressure to contend for the title while our aspiration was to get better before the season and even after the JH trade but not necessarily making the playoffs
Lakers play Minnesota at home tomorrow night......they might pull out that win. A win would move them from 2.5 games back to 2 games back correct?
Correct. It's on TNT too so you know they're going to hype up us losing 2 in a row and Lakers being on our heels. They'll get all the momentum calls like they have been lately..
The NBA has retroactively charged Metta World Piece with a Flagrant 2 foul for a play in Monday's game against the Nuggets. World Peace appeared to elbow Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried in the face during play in the third quarter. There was no foul called on the play, but the league decided to up it to a flagrant after reviewing the play. World Peace and teammate Dwight Howard are now tied for the league lead with five flagrant foul points and either would be subject to an automatic one-game suspension if called for a Flagrant 1 foul between now and the end of the regular season. If either World Peace or Howard are called for a Flagrant 2, the automatic suspension is for two games.
Dwight: Yo Nash lets play some street fighter Nash: Alright ............................ Dwight: i win round 1 Nash: alright wait til round 2 Game:Error couldn't make it to round 2
Lakers are just too good to miss the playoffs. Lets just hope the Jazz miss the playoffs cuz the Lakers are getting in.
