The Rockets in 2000-2001 had a record of 45-39. Highest record not to make the playoffs.

This season looks to be even more competitive, and after tonight's loss, the Rox fell to 30-27.

That is .526, or an overall 43-39 record.

We ain't getting in with that record. Last 25 games are NOW.

Here's to hoping they can get over the hump.

My prediction is anyone under 45 wins this season won't get in.

I am predicting 43-39, but I think we can get in with that record just because the Suns are sucking it up more than we are. I just don't see us doing much better than that though because we can't win consistantly on the road and that is where most of our remaining games are played.

we could win 40 games and still get in... there are more than just us and the suns to worry about... there are the jazz the worriors even the lakers even the blazers are only 5 ahead of us, its still too close to call right now... thats why its an 82 game season

A couple of road bumps are the fact that Phoenix has more home games remaining than the Rockets, and that soon they will get Penny and Tsak back. Look for the race for the 8th seed to go down to the wire.
