There was no 'hate' in the ESPN article at all. The fact that we were even mentioned at all was a huge sign of love.
the only thing I dont like is how Adande said the playoff wasnt a lock yet -- this is true but the Rockets are just 1 game out of 7th and 3 games out of 6th. The lakers are creeping up fast but the chances of any one of the 3 teams getting knocked out is high since there are so many games left. and as it has been mentioned before the Rockets do have the easiest schedule left out of the 4 teams. Another guy mentioned point differential both the Jazz and Warriors are the only two teams in the league that have +.500 records and a NEGATIVE point differential -- if anything the indicators of those two teams falling are much higher (GS kind of already did with the 5-6 game losing streak they had)
This is what I'm starting to believe as well. The Texans really turned me off with their collapse at the end of the year. They have so many question marks right now. As is the Texans are not Super Bowl caliber because they are limited at the most important position, QB. Not to get too much into the Texans but I'm more excited about the Rox now.
This is a very, very tempered way of putting it though. "Next season, if they have a better roster than they do now, they might almost contend to be a contender."
I get your point but after last year's debacle, I'm not going to feel really confident until it's almost done, it was too painful watching them throw a season away.
