but i can't be wrong...right? i mean, i'm just a product of my culture, and who is to say that my culture is any worse than anyone's else. the picture just bothers me...it's comic on one level and offends me on another. i can't imagine making my wife do that and putting my own pride ahead of her. i think self-sacrifice is sort of a universal trait of "good." but again, i'm a product of my own culture. doesn't mean i wouldn't like to slap the cigarette out of his mouth and tell him to help his poor wife, though. this picture might go a long way in explaining why i'm not interested in a world court or a world government. different strokes for different folks i guess...
