Doesn't need to bulk up. He'll put on 15 pounds of muscle. That happens as you get older.

I said this in the game thread. DMo will be the flourish with the playing time he'll be getting with smith out of the rotation for 1 week. Our team will be better off for it when smith returns.

DMo can't be our backup C. We'll miss Smith for sure.

I don't believe that the carlos delfino at the four is working out to well. why not release the DMO into the starting lineup? Delfino is best served as a spark while DMO is best served with an oppurtunity to prove himself as a future franchise powerforward. What is Mchale thinking. DMO is young and talented and will never develop into anything if he isn't given experience

Like every other head coach in the NBA, McHale needs to be comfortable with the player. In the absence of PPat and MM McHale is ramping up D-Mo's minutes quickly. Dtarter by this time next week?

Its the playing time invested throughout the season. He played like crap to begin the season but because of the playing time invested he is giving solid returns.

I was at the game tonight, and I'd like to second this thought. Even without scoring D-Mo was very impressive tonight. He was doing all the little things that matter: boxing out, was consistently in good position, tipping balls, great court awareness, very good on the boards...

I understand why McHale made the decision he did, but I still wish he had left D-Mo in the game to match up with Okafor on that last possession defensively. We may have had the same result, but D-Mo is going to have to rise to the occasion sooner rather than later if this team is going to be successful. I think he's up for the challenge.

I loved the way he competed tonight in general and how he was yelling at guys going back down the court trying to get them fired up.

Nene was manhandling him. Some roids and he's good to go!

He needs to get more touches on the low block. Better option than a lot of the shots we were getting tonight.

Yao was like that when he was starting out. As he observes the pet moves of the players and gain experience he will get better and reading and defending.

Reminds me a bit of a skinny Yao in his rookie season.

He's a 7 foot Antwan Jamason with a smooth post game. He has that similar unorthodox ability to release his shot quickly. DMo is probably quickly in his release than Antwan.

He will develop into our third star. He'll be paired with Harden & star # 2 (acquired by Maurry in offseason)

Even Skinny Yao had tree trunk legs and weighed 290 lbs, though. Motiejiunas will need a lot more protein shakes and horse steroids to reach that level of BMI.
