As most of you know by now, Sadam Hussein has stated he will not disarm his Al Samoud 2 Missles. Hans Blix has stated that the destruction of these missles must begin by March 1st. With a potentiail UN vote on the new US Resolution on March 14/15, my question is how soon until we see "Bombs over Baghdad" My guess is 19 days even. That would put us at the Sunday after the UN votes on the second resolution. Anyone want to chime in?
March 25th sounds reasonable to me. This also sounds reasonable- There is absolutely no way Saddam will not cause this war.
I still like Sunday March 16th. Bush usually likes to start these things on Sunday (Afghanastan). I don't think Sadam is going to back down, and if he flips his nose up at the UN (again) without destroying these missles, well it's Bye Bye Baath Sheep.

well...president clinton said it was back in 1998...clinton said he had no doubt that if saddam acquired nuclear weapons, he would use them. if bill clinton was right, then yes, it's worth going to war over. as his administration taught us, you simply can't be reactive in this world today...you have to be proactive and preemptive.

Come on now Glynch, please admit that the role of the inspectors is NOT to search for weapons. They are there to verify that weapons found in 1999 have either been destroyed and/or accounted for.

Substantiated proof that Saddam has the ability to deliver that "mushroom cloud over Manhattan" would change my mind. The only evidence I've seen shows that Saddam would be hard-pressed to deliver a banana cloud over Basra. Hollow words and accusations make me skeptical, at best.
