A very interesting movie. More than a few of the scenes will shock most people, including myself, but the cinematography and the soundtrack works very well with the actors and the script.

For those who don't know, it's based off the book of the same name by Brett Easton Ellis. He's the guy who wrote the books that Less Than Zero and American Psycho were based off to. Most of his work is themed around the concept of the hollow society, where most people are just shallow clones going through life for the sake of fitting in rather than searching for a deeper purpose. The majority of his characters are empty inside, and his books tend to include very graphical sex and violence scenes.

Good books though and so far all three movies based off his books have been good, although Less than Zero wasn't as well made and didn't follow the books as well as the other two.

Anyways, rent it if you like dark comedies.
I would definitely not recommend it if you have very strong conservative or religious views because this movie will probaly offend you. Just warning you ahead of time.

I don't know about that. I don't have strong conservative or religous views, and I still hated the **** out of this movie.

I have the movie on order but havent seen it yet, this aint the first time i have done this. All I heard is good things about this movie. I was one of the very few people I know that liked American Psycho and I think Jessica Biel and Kate Bosworth are super hotties.

Well, this movie isn't for everyone.

The suicide scene was probaly one of the most intense scenes that I've ever witnessed in a movie before.

Almost made me puke...not kidding! I loved American Psycho, but I didn't like this movie. Maybe it's because American Psycho seemed to take itself less seriously.

I love Avary, and I liked this movie. Not as good as his Killing Zoe but good in its own way. I thought it was a real break out for Van Der Beek. My favorite part is where Zak is relating his Euro-Vacation in fast forward. That was great filmaking. Freaking hilarious stuff. Dark Movie though, not for you optimists out there.

Damn, thats all I got to say. This is an off movie and alot like American Psycho. It was a REALLY entertaining flick. Kinda disappointed that Kate Boseworth didnt have a bigger part. To those wondering what the "Mystery Guest" commentary on the DVD, its freakin Carrot Top. I am listening to it right now with the window minimized and its pretty hilarious so far.

Didn't care for the movie overall, but I did think that part was entertaining (and interesting).
