The general consensus over at the Kings forum is why? Upset at losing Robinson. Sac fans also frustrated at their GM for not choosing Lillard who was chosen by the Blazers in the draft right after Robinson. Suxs to be a Kings fan.
Rock star status simply for being a high draft pick. Expectations were way to high for him. I hope Houston doesn't do that because it is not only delusional, it is unfair to Robinson.
I'm excited for Kings fans. They finally have a big in Aldrich that can guard the paint as well as grab rebounds. He's an automatic 10+ wins for them.
I have nothing but pity for that franchise and its fans. We should all be thankful for Les Alexander and Daryl Morey.
I haven't seen this posted here so I thought I'd share. It's a King's fan blog. Poor guys. http://aroyalpain.com/2013/02/20/br...kets-thomas-robinson-patrick-patterson-trade/
Same here. The Sacramento fans didn't deserve to have horrific ownership like the Maloofs, and the equally horrific management those two hired and kept around. And they don't deserve to lose their franchise. At least they got a nice tweener in Patterson, someone they'll like, who still has some upside. And Aldrich is a good guy. Maybe he'll get some burn there and turn into a decent backup 5, instead of the decent backup of the backup, like he was here for most of his tenure.
That factory of undersized PFs is called Dork Elvis Inc. The Kings have made long term orders for our products.
