Seems reasonable to me. Lakers brought him in saying they intended to make him the franchise player of the future, and they're still selling that line. But, with everything that's happened, he doesn't know if he still wants to do that, or if the Lakers (and Kobe) are willing to do what it'd take to make that a reality.
Literally JUST happened. Short and quick, but powerful. Kobe came out and said a few words. They followed it up with Magic talking on the verge of tears. Easy to feel his pain.
Yup. He says there's no doubt about it. And the 8th seed is us. I don't think they're gonna overtake us. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/226286/Kobe-Guarantees-Lakers-Will-Make-Playoffs
Anyone seen Ric Bucher on sportsnet saying that Howard is starting to think about coming to Houston cause the Hardens play and success they are having
we obviously need to hold pace with the Lakers to stay in the playoffs. every time we get a big win (like last night), they pull out out a gutsy victory as well. same thing happens when they lose one. we get a chance to gain a full game and we choke it away. that's been the pattern for the last couple weeks or so, it's been a consistent 3.5 game gap. we did gain one in conference play since they lost to the Clippers. our win last night over OKC puts us at 13-20 in conference play, one game behind them at 14-19. a better conference record clinches a tiebreaker if we are left playing them at Staples for the last game of the season...
Yeeeaaah that aint happening. In case you hadn't noticed, this *is* the NBA Dish, where threads discussing other NBA teams goes. Don't want to read it? Don't enter and click Post Reply.
Houston is not the factor when you talk about LA making the playoffs. It's down to Utah or Golden State. The Rockets will win 46+ games, and most likely end up at 6th seed. Utah and the Warriors have harder schedules, the Warriors have a lot of home games to close out, so they're pegged to win 44+ The Jazz have the hardest remaining schedule in the West, and look to be on track for 43 wins. That's the mark for the Lakers to be beating
Fixed. I really hope we move up the standings soon. Having the Lakers right behind us makes me nervous. Luckily they have a bunch of tough games with a couple of b2bs while we have a fairly easy schedule.
