Robinson, Jones, and a second rounder for Smith.

They get two young guys and we get Smoove, who we can possibly convince to take less than the max if he likes it here.

    Lin/Beverley
    Harden/Garcia
    Parsons/Delfino
    J. Smith/Motiejunas
    Asik/G. Smith

I totally agree, the roster yesterday is not capable of winning of a championship, ever. So we went out and got a guy who has all-star potential, if he achieves his max potential, we keep harden, lin pans out, asik continues doing what he does, parsons keeps improving like he has been, i think we can be challengers, not to mention the development of T Jones and D Mo. This is a team for the future, the limited success we have had so far this year, is just a sign of good things to come.

What a great trade for Houston. The Rockets got themselves a high potential young player that has tons of upside and they didn't have to lose much. Even though he's struggling this year, he is still a young rookie who still have plenty of time to improve.

A lot of times, young players like Thomas Robinson usually takes a few years to reach their potential. He's the type of player that can really impact both ends of the floor and his style of play will only being intensity of the Rockets. Patterson and Morris have their ups and downs this season but they both are incredibly soft for a majority of the time. Thomas Robinson is opposite of that. He's a tough bruiser that likes contact and physical play.

I'm surprise the Rockets got a player like Thomas Robinson who's a top 5 pick in this year's draft and didn't have to give up much talent in return..

Morey just "Moneyballed" McHale. He wouldn't play the young guys, so Morey is for ing him to. That or we are getting Smith or Millsap and this doesn't matter.

Love this trade. If Robinson helps land a bigger name, address that's awesome. If not, then I'm happy with Robinson. I see him eventually as a JJ Hickson type player. Kove that this cleared cap and room for youngsters to play. And at a cheap price, too.

I hope we don't go with tonight's, small lineup much longer. Unleash the young power forwards. One of them is is serviceable enough for the playoffs at this point.

Just when I start thinking I'm smart in life, Daryl Morey happens. I feel dumb again.

My only problem with this trade was why we gave up MM for a bag of chips, he wasn't needed in the Robinson trade, surely we could have held on to MM as a filler piece in another big trade or something.

"We’re not doing anything,” McHale said. “I’d be shocked if we do anything.”

I'd rather keep what we got than trade for J Smith. Now if we can use what we acquired for LMA or Love, that would be incredible!

I like it just because it forces McHale to stop being a shortsighted fool. I also loved Robinson prior to the draft. He has been disappointing, but he's still only 21 so he can turn things around hopefully.

Wow, the Kings gave up on Thomas Robinson THAT fast? I liked his potential as an offensive rebounder/energy guy. Good trade for the Rockets.

A second rounder is a much more attractive asset than Morris in a trade.
