Kobe needs to grow up. Dwight is being the bigger man in this situation.

Yup, that's how team accomplishments work.

Player A could be the top player on 17 championship teams and player B could be the top player on a team that never even gets to the second round and player B could very well be A LOT better than player A. The "rings" argument is the least intelligent argument in all of team sports.

I don't know if Kobe and Howard has really bad relationship, but I won't believe any rumors on NY post based on previous experiences.

The rings argument does not just say who has the better team. If you switch out David Robinson for Hakeem in 95 do you think the Rockets still beat the Spurs?

It does say who has the better team, changing one or two guys can swing the balance to one team's favor, but that doesn't change that team accomplishments are not individual accomplishments.

I would like to remain a likeable team. No Dwight Howard.
Houston is one of the most loved NBA teams in the league right now. Nobody hates Houston.

Trust me on this, Kobe doesn't have as much trouble as you think, getting along with teammates. At least not the All-Star teammates from what I observed all weekend and the last few All-Star weekends I've been at.

He does. Maybe not real close friends but he is good friends with some of the other All-Stars.

I'll say something I noticed Sunday. As the players (East and West) left the court at HT for the same tunnel. Shaq was seating at the end of the courtside seats(for some reason he wasn't already up at the TNT desk with the rest of the crew for the HT report) and he shook hands w/ just about every player(even had a quick chat with Kobe) but I didn't see Dwight or Shaq acknowledge each other. I'm guessing Dwight is still salty about Shaq's comments.

Say what you want about locker room cancer, Dwight was never a Diva in his magic days, until the last couple of years where Magic is just not competive due to horibble trades.

And a 75% healthy dwight is still better than 90% big man if not 95%. Heck going by numbers, he is still the best center in the game even with Noah and chandler having a career year.

Actually inclined to give Dwight a little bit of the benefit of the doubt here. Because this isn't the first time Kobe has been an a-hole to a rival superstar big man in LA.

True but Kob still needed his big man to get to those 5 rings. He knows that.
A lot is show but both guys have different philosophies.
Dwight doesn't have the motor to be a legend and the skills.

Good point. It's the New York Post, not the most reliable New York rag. I haven't read every bit of the thread, but has this crap been confirmed?
