Mr. McNair, even a stud 4.2 6'5 WR wont make a difference when noodle arm is your QB. :(

Guilty. My disdain for him only grew more watching the superbowl yesterday. Rolyat93, do you get it? Do you???

Just venting... nothing to see here...

If it was scheme over lack of development or lack of eye for talent for the position, then the receivers who we had let go would have shown some semblance of thriving for another franchise.

Also, perhaps our scheme is the way it is because we don't have a #2 WR the coaching staff /Schaub trusts. Looking at Kube's ran Denver Broncos' offense, it featured two 100+ catch receivers in Smith and McCaffery, combined with one of the top rushing offenses.

They used that space to extend Brown and give Schaub top QB money. $16 million a season for the next 4 years for Schaub....

Currently, Schaub doesn't crack the top 10 paid QBs until 2015, the third year of his deal. The Texans signed him to a very reasonable, cap-friendly contract that essentially gives them two more years to evaluate him before writing the big check.

After what Wilson did this year, Manuel will go in the second easy. QBs are always overdrafted.
