http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine/?tradeId=b8djq95 it's a trade that involves kobe robert sacre antwan jamison morris for rondo terry or lee jeff green brandon bass if the lakers are convinced they can resign howard, the lakers shut down howard for the rest of the season, let him get back to 100%. . have rondo and him as the futurr starting next season since lets be honest... theyre not going anywhere. this also puts the celtics in win now mode bradley kobe pierce jamison garnett if they fail. everyone just retires. lol
lol why would Kobe play for "the enemey". He was quoted earlier that he denied a trade to Detroit in 07 because he wanted to be a Laker for life
I don't really think that matters now, come on I mean they're all a bunch of old guys like a year away from the retirement, I think they would get together to get that 1 ring. he's obviously frustrated in Laker land, is there any other way he can get a ring before he retires?
They should, but it's up to Kobe. People keep talking about Dwight Howard, but it's Kobe the Lakers should be working on ditching. I can see him being like KG and refusing a trade, but I don't think he's said. 2007 was a long time ago. His window for winning championships with the Lakers is shut. He might be willing to move to make one last try. And, if anyone can match his intensity, it's the Celtics. His contract is ridiculous, but I think a trade to the Celtics is one option that is reasonable. KG has their rebuilding aspirations hostage with his no-trade clause. Rondo is their one young franchise piece, but there's risk counting on a guy coming back from ACL injury. With a Kobe/KG/Pierce core, they can potentially do something significant before everyone retires. It makes a lot of sense to me, if Kobe is willing to give up his one-franchise status.
exactly!!! I don't get why ppeople don'tsee this. Kobe needs his sixth ring, the Lakers need to think about their future. this trade makes too much sense for both teams. 07 was six years ago. kg pierce and kobe want rings
