Tim, the VP of Marketing said they would be ready in March. The question that Im facing is judging from the way the Kings reto uni's went on sale, as well as an article I read somewhere *i forgot*, we may have to wait until after the "turn back the clock" game on April 6th before the Houston retro unis are on sale. Which is too bad because I really want to wear one to that game. The Good news is that the Kings offered a variety of players even if they werent sponsored by Reebok. This may mean that we can expect some other uni's besides a #3 Francis. How about a Vernon Yao jersey!?
I haven't heard anything about the retro uniforms - could someone please fill me in? Are they going to be replicas of the old ones or are they going to be a mix between new and old. Also, have they released any pictures? Thanks a lot
cool, i didn't think they would have the Retro's available. Finally, I get a second chance at the Red & Yellow.
they will be the old red and gold jerseys with only the current players names and numbers. screen printed replicas and authentics should be available. again, hopefully for more than one player, but the only artist rendering that Ive seen was for Francis. sorry no pic, but search the archives for my other post i had a link in there somewhere. they are reebok, "turn back the clock" uni's.
The league informed us last week that the jerseys had shipped. Their original plans were to wait until two weeks before the 4/6 game, but we asked them to move up the sales date, and they did. I don't have a list of local retailers that ordered them, but I do know that FMI (they operate the merchandise store at the Compaq Center) did confirm for us earlier that they had their order in on time. We'll do some checking to see if they've gotten their shipment yet. Tim
