Center - Hakeem , Cato, Collier
    PForward - MoTay, KT, Los
    SForward - Walt, Langhi, Bull

NOW KT and Los can play some SF
    Cato can play some PF

I remember during the summer we were REALLY
worried about our frontcourt. Now , I'm
    not worried.

I think we are a young inexpienced version
of portland last year only we have a good coach.

    We are 2 deep everywhere
[no need mention the backcourt with
    the addition of Boseman!!]

I hate to say this, because I still expect Langhi to be a scoring machine...but he cannot play significant minutes right now.

He looks very confused in the offensive flow. He does not know when to pick, when to switch spots, when to shoot, when to pass, nothing. The guy cannot get his shot off because he is overthinking everthing. Consider that he has likely never had to think, because he was the strong-side focus of Vanderbilt. Now he is asked to play the weakside. topsy-turvy.

Besides, Los allows us to bring Langhi along slowly. Langhi will surface maybe in February at the earliest, imo.

partner, exactly how much beer do you drink during games? lol. I've never seen Rogers play the 3 spot for the Rockets. Well, maybe once when he first got here. Outside of that, never. He has yet to play it in the preseason. What do you want to bet that he doesn't see any time at the 3 this year? Barring injury to some perimeter guys of course.

Langhi probably won't surface for a few years. He'll get his 10 minutes each game. This season and next. That is almost guaranteed, but I think it will be three or four seasons before he gets a chance to do anything for the Rockets. Walt is the starter in Houston. Langhi will be backing him up. I don't see that changing anytime soon. Even if Langhi proves he can play, its too late, Walt is part of the team's core. It shocked me too, but he's the man for some time, and that isn't going to change.

Langhi is timid He seems to goto the
Right side corner and sit there.

    he needs more movement and
I saw him do a great Pump fake then
over think the shot and missed. . .
    potential is there

I'm not worried about our Front Court.

Yeah Langhi will be a project , We need to give him time though , Drew and Maloney had their moments but they couldn't be consistent starters in H-town .

thefreak...I drink my share of beer.

    hehe

I agree with what you have been seeing. I am not saying otherwise. What I've been saying here and other threads is to remind people what Rudy had planned for Los last year. Rudy said he would play plenty of 3. He did up until Barkley was injured and Olajuwon and TMass. At that time, he returned to the 4. In the preseason, now Mo is down, TMass and Barkley are gone. We have 1 PF right now, KT. So, Los is back to the 4. I agree.

Still, Rudy did say last year his plans for Los included the 3. I am assuming that hasn't change, and I think he would be fine there in our system.

He'll get time at both 3 and 4. Between Walt, Los and a 3 guard lineup, Langhi will not be Walt's backup for quite awhile. I'm disappointed, but that is my take.

    Center- Dream, Cato
    Pf- MoT, Rogers
    Sf- Walt, KT
    Sg- SA, Cat
    Pg- FREAKINSTARFRANCHISE, Moochie

Imo, these 10 should make up the regular rotation, with Bullard thrown in when somebody in injured. Collier needs to strain his back now please.

Good point... I'm also not worried about the frontcourt. There were so many questions in the offseason. HOw would MO fit in? Would MO rebound? How good would KT be, especially after his poor summer league showing? etc.

But it seems that EVERYTHING has fit in well. KT seems a new man. MO is fittin in really well. Los added some bulk and is playin better than ever. Cato is playing better, is keeping his head in the game, is playin with heart, and is not b****in at the refs no more. If Hakeem can stay relatively healthy, then we have a really nice group of pf's and centers.

I was hopin Langhi could make an impact kinda soon, but HeyPartner is right. Langhi does seem lost on offense, BUT it still is the preseason. He's JUST startin to really learn these offensive sets... the first couple of games are always the hardest. That said, I think soon, after some more games, his learning curve should rise dramatically, and his play should be much improved.

I'm hoping that Langhi can get his act together soon so that he can bolster our sf lineup, which is our weakest spot right now.

langhi is not as effective as bullard and should'nt and probably wont play over him. Otherwise I see us using more three guard formations with no three on the floor if walt isn't in there.
This is best for our personel anyway because we just dont match up well up front with most teams. Using our ball-handlers to create mismatches is our best bet especially since our guards rebound well for their size.
